Trump will just switch to mocking and insulting the reporter and get cheers from his base.

He's got the "being an insult comic as a presidential debate technique" thing down.

You know, as obviously devastating as that sounds, knowing the democrats, the candidate would spend the whole time talking about Stormy Daniels or some other social issue topic the Trumpians obviously don't care about.

Out of pure curiosity, who do most of the democrats here favor for 2020? Who can beat Trump?

WE don't know if that is true either.

Trump has lost so much money with bankruptcies, bad investments, etc. He might have lost all is inherited wealth but still appears wealthy because of money laundering and other criminal enterprises. So even if he has a few million, its not from his original/inherited wealth but from Russian Oligarchs saying "Here's some money".

Trump famously once told his daughter Ivanka that the beggar in front of Trump Tower had a billion dollars more than he had (because he was so deep in debt).
 
I can't but think that Trump effectively lost his inheritance many times over. Cannot multiple bankruptcies support his tendency to pauperism if not for shady benefactors?
 
The current economic “greatness” is the same sort of high- performance one gets by cutting a car’s brakes and pushing it down a steep incline. It goes fast, is getting great mpg, just don’t pay attention to the ravine at the bottom of the road.

I'm pretty sure it would have to be a declared war. At least, I believe that is why Jane Fonda was never charged with treason for collaborating with North Vietnam. Vietnam was certainly a shooting war, but the US never actually declared war on North Vietnam. In any event, I'm pretty sure that Russia does not qualify as an "enemy" of the US, at least as far as charging Trump (or anybody else) with treason for colluding with them.

When I was composing my reply I originally had it as a declared war. Then while reviewing the few actual times citizens where charged I was reminded that al-Qaida member Adam Gadahn was charged with treason by the DOJ after a secret grand jury proceeding. Since we never formally declared that action a war I changed it to just shooting. I'd forgotten about Fonda so combining the two either Fonda was not charged for other reasons or Gadahn would have been acquitted if he had lived to go to trial.

That already happens pretty much every day when network news calls out his "misstatements." But his base believes him, no matter what. They will never admit they got suckered by a Brooklyn shyster. If Trump's desperate pandering to Putin in Helsinki didn't disgust people who think of themselves as patriots, nothing will.

Speaking of golfing, remember all those posters who rended their shirts complaining about how much golfing Obama did when he was President? Yeah, don’t see that much brough up much anymore, and a couple of the shrilled criers haven’t shown their faces since.

Because of his Melatonin-issue, Obama needed all the time he had to be President - obviously.
Trump, unencumbered by anything but spray-tan, can do it in a fraction of the time.

That doesn't seem to be true, either. I've not got time at the moment, but IIRC he's talked about being completely bankrupt before. There's evidence that what bailed him out of being completely broke was starting to take business from Russia, in what looks suspiciously like money laundering. If I remember, I'll have a look for sources tomorrow. If I don't remember, feel free to remind me.
