John McCain Diagnosed With Brain Cancer

Obama puts the boot in even more - "he despised the politics of bombast, insult and phoney outrage." I wonder how Ivanka feels listening to every single speaker pour polite contempt over her father.

Heh. Everyone seems to be doing a great job of making John McCain's memorial all about Donald Trump.
 
Perhaps there's a medical reason, but I find President Clinton chewing gum at a memorial service to be less than classy.
 
The words, the sentiments expressed in Senator McCain’s memorial service may be somewhat grandiose at times, but i don’t feel played. I’d prefer to be inspired, I’d rather be moved to better thoughts, considerations and ideals than not.

I never met the senator but today feel touched by him. He reminded me, through the testimony of others, what I’ve long tried and so often failed to accomplish. To be reminded by one example, provided by one high-profile man, that it is possible to fall but still continue on. And be remembered well.

McCain very much believed in appealing to the better angels of our nature. Trump turns to the devil on his other shoulder every time.
 
I was right;the first hymn at the funeral was "Eternal Father, Strong To Save" a traditional Naval hymn.

She's a Trump, probably thinking how much nicer the place could be with some gold leaf.

He'll probably play "I'm Too Sexy" instead...and have it held at one of his golf resorts.

He might have been trying to clear his ears. He'd just come from Aretha Franklin's funeral and he probably had that stuffy feeling you get in your ears from being around loud noise for a long time. That was quite the funeral/concert/tent revival.
