It wasn't NY it was Florida, I believe, a campaign donation just before a ruling about a lawsuit, or something like that, it's easy to lose track.

But he filled some positions in NY that might benefit him in the future.

Daily Mail: Trump-appointed U.S. attorney in Manhattan is RECUSED from Russia probe and did not give go-ahead to FBI raid on Michael Cohen's hotel and office I suppose that's a federal job. It's hard to keep up.

I know with federal charges there are a lot of legal opinions that suggest a sitting president cannot be indicted. (Its not unanimous, and its never been tried.) So, at the federal level the impeachment process is used to deal with a president who is breaking the law. But if state prosecutors find that a president has broken state laws (ones that would result in jail time), can he be indicted by a state? (After all, impeachment wouldn't necessarily apply since congresscritters at the federal level might not be able to apply state laws.)

It is the same with state, really there is no difference in the ambiguity as to what to do with a criminal president who the senate will not convict.

Slightly misleading. From that article we don't know that the juror who prevented the rulings was a Trump supporter or not.

The juror who was the source for the article is a Trump supporter, but not necessarily the one who hung the verdicts on the 10 mistrial cases.

Yeah, someone should probably stop him from watching Tucker's White Power Hour. Although this feels like a good time to remind people of that goofy look Tucker always has on his face. The link is a bit disturbing, in that it shows people eating fresh mayonnaise.

ETA: it's worth noting that that first tweet was originally linked to (@-ed) a Pompeo fan account, rather than to Sec. Pompeo himself. But yes, this is a standard white supremacist talking point - and hypocritically, they usually suggest that we open the doors to those poor white South Africans who are ever so threatened, thus giving them...um, refuge from a hostile government. Stay tuned for Dolt 45 to do the same - and to not propose kidnapping and caging their children as they enter the supposed murder sprees.

An actual resident of SA, or someone reasonably well-versed in their politics, could likely say something helpful about what's actually going on. Cheeto Benito is not well-versed on anything, however.
