Hell, Trump is such a petulant man-child. While this sort of snide and nasty comment is par for the course for this scumbag, can anyone honestly see any other past POTUS saying something like this in public.

It ought to be beneath the holder of the highest office in the US.

NO. I can't think of a single president who would have resorted to this kind of childish behavior. I know 12 yr. olds who have more class and emotional maturity than Trump. I'd say he's a big baby, but I don't want to insult babies.

It IS beneath the holder of the highest office in the US.

Are you saying you endorse that childish, spiteful comment from the President of your country?

Are you saying you endorse that childish, spiteful comment from the President of your country?

As fixed? Yes I do!

I assume you do too, correct? I mean, you don't think people looking for a lawyer should hire Michael Cohen, do you?

Of course not

Wow, the Bitch Queen of the Briefing Room went full Watergate today with her no denial, denials. "That's a ridiculous question". It's like she watched "All The President's Men" to prepare for the briefing today.

Donald Trump hired him for ten years. Funny how he only now says Cohen is not a good person to hire after Cohen implicates him in at least two felonies.

Coincidence, much?

TBD, exactly what would Trump have to do before you would not defend him? We know constant lying isn't it. We know constant bullying isn't it. We know racism isn't it. We know repeated marital infidelity isn't it. We know alienating our staunchest allies isn't it. We know taking the word of Putin over his own intelligence agencies isn't it. We know committing a felony isn't it. Just what is it?
Just curious.

Well then, it appears that you and the President agree.

/All these folks pretending to have the vapors that Trump was spiteful to Michael ******* Cohen is beyond hilarious.

Trump is President of the United States. When he makes petty, spiteful comments on twitter like a spoiled 14 year old girl who's been spurned by her first crush, that is demeaning to his office and your country.

Fer Chrissakes.

We're just appalled, but not surprised, by the unpresidential behavior this man continues to display. You should be, too. But, apparently you think this kind of behavior by the POTUS is acceptable.

Ya see folks, it ain’t as if they would ever in a million years would recommend hiring Michael Cohen, it is just that they don’t feel that his absolutely correct comment with which they fully agree without hesitation or contradiction does not respect the Highest Office in the Land.

Someone mentioned studies earlier? Oh mercy.

It is BENEATH the guy who cleans out my septic tank every 3 years.

That's because you're not looking for a bag man and someone to clean up your messes.

Neither the comment nor the delivery of it are befitting anyone above the level of junior manager at McDonald's.

But ya see folks, no ditch that Trump drags his office or his country through will ever prompt his cultish supporters to criticise him. That's what happens when people drink the kool aid.

Holy crap, wait until you hear of the blue dress, Monica Lewinski, the cigar and the Oval Office.

Yes, but if it were paid officially through the campaign, then don't they have to account for to whom the money was given and for what purpose? "Hush payment to porn star" kind of goes against the whole idea...

ETA: However, if it were paid in October, they could probably file it after the election when it was too late. Maybe. I don't know. I'm not a scumbag, I mean lawyer.
FEC Rules (summary):
The core of the federal regulatory regime consists of three pillars:
• Contribution limits restricting the size of contributions made to candidates, political action committees, and political parties.
• Reporting and disclosure rules requiring groups that hit spending thresholds to register with the Federal Election Commission, and publicly disclose contributions and expenditures.
• Source restrictions prohibiting certain individuals or entities from engaging in campaign activity. Corporations and labor unions may not make contributions to candidates, parties (in most circumstances), or political committees that make contributions to candidates or parties. Only U.S. citizens or permanent resident aliens are permitted to make contributions or election related expenditures.

So big contributions and big expenses are reportable. It would have come out where the money went. Cohen's LLC was a means of hiding it, so essentially it was a hidden campaign contribution.

Fox News anchor tried to argue with Lanny Davis that a jury could find it wasn't a campaign expense. That lawyer is sharp unlike Giuliani, he politely schooled her [paraphrasing] that Hell might also freeze over.

On another note: That subpoena NY State gave to Cohen was about the shenanigans at the Trump Foundation. I believe upthread I mentioned the money that paid off those two women was not going to come out of Trump's pocket. Well, apparently (per Rachel Maddow) Trump instructed his sons controlling the Trump Foundation to pay Cohen back. The man is a parasite.

Can't be mocking the disabled, families of dead service members, or terminally ill senators.

I bet it involves 'tapes' or maybe 'tapps' of:
Russian pee-hookers?
Whatever he did to Melania to keep her out of sight for all those weeks?
Russian oligarch money laundering?
