I checked the websites for Fox News and the Post; the top headline for each dealt was about a photogenic white woman murdered by an illegal alien.

Something Trump can hide behind and pretend that mean old world out there where he isn't a hero doesn't exist.

Billings Gazette - Four dead in SUV crash, fires somewhere, guy wins primary. Nothing from Washington on page 1.

Bismarck Tribune - ND Power Plant Welcomes Lower Coal Standards, ND man busted for sex offense, local celebrity says something
Nothing from Washington on page 1.

Casper Star Tribune - Some guy wins GOP governor primary, police chief orders wounded officer back to work.... bunch of local primary news...
Nuttin' about Manafort, Cohen or WV Rally.

I reckon this is "Real News". Just ignore the bad stories (from your political perspective).

I picked websites of the publications with the highest circulation in each of those three states. I did not know, going in, what their political leanings are.

The PDJT made mention of that news during last night's rally as well. And he also managed to get in another "Wasn't that a great Election?" The speech was being show on Fox but they cut him off to start Tucker Carlson's show.

I am looking forward to the Trumpies claiming that because he was not convicted on all counts, this is somehow a victory for Manafort and Trump.

A quick peruse of The_Donald reveals 3 main comments about this:

1) If he's guilty he should be locked up. Of course, he was in DC long before Trump, so it's got nothing to do with Trump.

2) If he's guilty he should be locked up. Of course, Trump dumped him from his campaign 2 days after his first security briefing, so it's got nothing to do with Trump.

3) The fact that Manafort has been convicted and Tony Podesta hasn't proves that the Mueller investigation is a Biased Witch Hunt!

I don't think he was a DC guy. Brighton Beach, which is real funny. He is a GTA4 character.

Trump Tweets

"I feel very badly for Paul Manafort and his wonderful family. “Justice” took a 12 year old tax case, among other things, applied tremendous pressure on him and, unlike Michael Cohen, he refused to “break” - make up stories in order to get a “deal.” Such respect for a brave man!"

"A large number of counts, ten, could not even be decided in the Paul Manafort case. Witch Hunt!"

"Michael Cohen plead guilty to two counts of campaign finance violations that are not a crime. President Obama had a big campaign finance violation and it was easily settled!"

Cohen reportedly was reimbursed for the hush money payments by submitting false invoices for legal services. If a business' legal fees are tax deductible and if Trump's company took a tax deduction for Cohen's "legal fees", is there the possibility for a tax fraud charge?

Oh, that's easily to clear up. All it takes is a quick look at Trump's tax return and-

Oh.

You bring up some good questions.

Apparently there was a wire for exactly $130,000 from the Trump Organization to Essential Consultants LLC.

It proves Trump's conspiracy with Cohen. But I doubt the money sent to that shell company would have been listed as legal fees. It certainly wouldn't have been a legitimate business expense.

Hmmm. Don't know.
