Stormy Daniels sues the President Part II

I assume Cohen must have realized all of his precampaign felonies made it very difficult politically for a Trump pardon, so they phonied up some campaign contribution ******** to appease the prosecutors.

You don't get it? Do you Big Dog? The paying for Stormy Daniels NDA was a campaign contribution.

But you dont care. You're a Bernie Sanders supporter.

Um, what?

Cohen just pled guilty to conspiring to commit a crime with the sitting president. He admitted it under oath. How on earth does that make it easier for Trump to pardon him?

If he'd been convicted of unrelated crimes, Trump might have issued a pardon with something like, "He's done great things for this country and it's unjust to persecute him for some complicated business dealings. Now, Trump would be pardoning a co-conspirator. It would basically be asking for impeachment (because it would become the only avenue for justice).

You can tie yourself in knots trying to spin this, but there is no world in which this isn't a watershed moment in the history of presidential politics.

The precedent provided by the John Edwards case, in and of itself, shows that the prosecutors could not prove a campain finance violation, but Cohen also knew that he had zero defense to the pre-existing tax fraud claims.

Oh well, he is lucky he was working for Trump and not the other side, or he probably would have shown up in a park with a huge hole in his head ala Vince Foster

Or... You could be wrong about the John Edwards precedent.

Nah. You couldn't be wrong. Can't happen.

And there we have it, a full monty.

That's ok. Sounds like there is a hell of a lot more including far more serious crimes which includes financial crimes involving the Trump Foundation which fall under NY State law.

You're not one one of those Vince Foster Clinton body count conspiracists, are you?

Feel free to explain how I am wrong.

First time for everything.

I think it'd be easier if we just went back through the two threads and found the few times you were right. From the outset (remember the chuckle we all had when you contended this would be moved to sooper sekret hush-hush arbitration) you've been wrong at every turn.

It doesn't matter, though. Months and months of throwing dog poop at the fan, and we're now at the a priori assumption of people with a brain, that this whole thing stunk and that Trump was in it up to his multiple chins!

With Paulie Ukraine going down within moments of this news, the spin doctors can't keep up. On Fox & Friends, I think they're going to do a full hour on macrame!

You're like totally misusing the concept of "precedent", dude! Just thought I'd mention it so you don't paint yourself into another corner with foolish legalistic mumbo jumbo.

And nice to see you've come full circle to Vince Foster Conspiracist.

And speaking of not getting snuffed.... If I was Paulie Ukraine I'd avoid guys with umbrellas and touching any surface without wearing gloves.

The Real Donald Trump was right, Cohen was so deep involved in tax fraud that they rolled him on some Trumped up (pun intended!) campaign violations. What a cuck.

And he worked more or less exclusively for Trump for over 15 years. Tells you something about Trump, doesn't it?

I went to the FOX news website just now. Their top headline, largest on the page, is "Mollie Tibbets murder suspect is illegal immigrant from Mexico."

You have to be living in a seriously warped version of reality to think that's today's most important story.

On days like this, you are very fortunate to be shameless.

Well, before that, let's hear from Obama's fixer.

What? Didn't have one? ...well, let's discuss GWB's fixer, then.

...Him neither? Clinton? GHWB? Reagan?

Just take a step back and marvel at it for a second: A porn star gave a TV interview and now the President's personal attorney is going to jail.

That's amazing to me.

I will say this however LL, I never imagined a day when a porn star/stripper was a bigger patriot than the President of the United States.
