Which isn't surprising from the guy that wouldn't stop calling Lil' Wayne, "Uncle Tom."

During the day’s shoot, Trump himself caught wind of this gimmick and began referring to Lil Jon around Apprentice staff as “Uncle Tom” instead of Uncle Sam.

“Look, he’s Uncle Tom!” one longtime Apprentice staffer recalled Trump blurting out at least twice. The staffer said Trump was utterly tone-deaf to the racially charged history of the term, which is used to deride a black man deemed to be subservient to white people.

It didn’t take long for multiple producers on the show to begin frantically attempting—in vain—to get the former real-estate mogul to stop calling Lil Jon an “Uncle Tom.” According to two sources from different departments on the production (speaking on the condition of anonymity due to strict non-disclosure agreements), one reason producers were freaked out was that comedian and talk-show host Arsenio Hall (who is also black) was a guest star on that episode, and had heard Trump refer to Lil Jon in the derogatory way.

“We kept trying to explain to [Trump] that that’s not a word you can use, that it’s offensive,” another Apprentice employee told The Daily Beast. “One of the executive producers had to call him up directly to [plead with] him not to say it, and Trump was like, ‘No, that’s a saying, it’s Uncle Tom.’ There are several takes in the footage of the dailies that has him trying to figure out the difference between ‘Uncle Tom’ and Uncle Sam. He just couldn’t grasp that it was offensive… When [Trump] decides he wants to do something, that’s his way.”

So that's 2 sources saying there is or was an unreleased tape of Trump saying it, and 2 people who work or have worked for Trump secretly recorded as confirming he said it.

Trump Tweeted

"When you give a crazed, crying lowlife a break, and give her a job at the White House, I guess it just didn’t work out. Good work by General Kelly for quickly firing that dog!"

Like it even matters if he did or not. Would this really change anything if it came out? The people who would care already know him for who he is.

The problem is Trump is such a transparent racist that no one working with him is going to doubt it exists. The guy that thinks it's funny to refer to an African-American as "Uncle Tom" probably isn't going to have a problem using the word but The Daily Beast did a lot of digging and found a lot of horrible things but no corroboration for staff on the Apprentice.

Let's say there is a tape of him saying the "N" word. Let's say that tape has him saying it multiple times in reference to specific people along with other racial slurs. Then what?

IMO this would be a point to celebrate for his supporters. At worst it would be hand-waved indifference. The Trump administration has been doing far worse to those pesky darkies than calling them a few names and his sycophants are cheering him on. What real damage would it do to him?

Sure, his base would love it. My hope is that, while the base will eat it up, support among less racist Republicans will waver. I'm not expecting large swaths of voters to switch to the Democratic party, but hopefully it will depress turnout and voting enthusiasm among those who don't want to associate openly with the alt-right.

And if it doesn't, then our country's current nightmare continues. I don't want to consider that.

Look bragging about sexually assaulting women didn't make them care why would dropping the odd racial epithet matter?

Trump imposed non-disclosure agreements on the federal government employees who work for him:
President Trump’s bitter fight with a former top White House aide has highlighted his aggressive and unconventional use of nondisclosure agreements to prevent current and former government employees from revealing secrets or disparaging him or his family.

That Republicans say things like this:..."It was not my intent to deceive or mislead anyone"

Jesus, she faked a diploma and then got a picture of herself with her diploma with her mommy to try to legitimize it.

If that is not an "intent to deceive" there is no such thing.

Normally, I would wonder, "How stupid does she think we are?" but, then again, I remember that she is campaigning to republicans in Florida, and she may not be wrong.

An off-the-cuff remark that got out of hand might be "a mistake" without intent to deceive. Faking a diploma and passing it off as real is, pretty much by definition, intentional deception.

They are supposed to be taken seriously not literally. Just because she had a picture of her fake diploma doesn't mean she ever expected anyone to believe she actually graduated.

And she wasn't actually trying to imply that she graduated or anything. She was just taking a picture of her with a faked diploma. I mean, who hasn't done that?

(somewhere from my college days, I have a picture of me with my diploma from Dr Science, but even that was a REAL diploma from Dr Science)

I'd love to hear Penn Jillette's take on The PDJT nowadays. I haven't listened to his podcast for a while. Last time I heard him mentioned was at campaign time, when Penn had a nickname for him -- "Donny Jingles".

True, the vast majority of Trump supporters are Racist, and actually LIKE it when Trump displays elements of racism himself.

I think the hope is that there are a small number of Trump supporters who are not racist who might genuinely be put off by his use of the N-word. The thing is, so far Trump has had a very thin veneer of deniability surrounding his racism... he thinks NeoNazis are 'fine people', but there were possibly violent left-wing protesters at charlleston as well. He talked about "mexican rapists" but said "some are fine people". So, if someone were on-the-fence, they may see things like that and give Trump the benefit of the doubt. Hearing him use the N-word would be a little harder to excuse.

So the question is, are those non-Racist Trump supporters like the Higgs-Boson particle (something that exists but is hard to find) or are they like Bigfoot (a rumor/legend that doesn't actually exist regardless of the amount of blurry pictures that are produced.)

Trump posing for pictures with the Bikers. One wearing a patch proclaiming 'I love Guns and Titties' another with a Nazi SS tattoo on his arm and a Luftwaffe eagle round his neck.

Classy people.

I hope you clarified at some point that this claim was a complete hoax, right?

Of course.

Not exactly a complete hoax.

It is true... Trump didn't pose for pictures with a biker with nazi tatoos. However, there was a picture (not posted by Trump) of a biker with both a pro-Trump patch on his jacket and a nazi tatoo.

While it doesn't necessarily show Trump himself being supportive of the neo-nazi movement (for that you have to go to his statements about nazis being "fine people"), it does show how the Trump administration and its message does resonate with neo-Nazis.
