trump Tweets

"Wacky Omarosa, who got fired 3 times on the Apprentice, now got fired for the last time. She never made it, never will. She begged me for a job, tears in her eyes, I said Ok. People in the White House hated her. She was vicious, but not smart. I would rarely see her but heard...."

"...really bad things. Nasty to people & would constantly miss meetings & work. When Gen. Kelly came on board he told me she was a loser & nothing but problems. I told him to try working it out, if possible, because she only said GREAT things about me - until she got fired!"

"While I know it’s “not presidential” to take on a lowlife like Omarosa, and while I would rather not be doing so, this is a modern day form of communication and I know the Fake News Media will be working overtime to make even Wacky Omarosa look legitimate as possible. Sorry!"

He should probably demand the resignation of the person that was dumb enough to hire Omarosa.

That's hysterical. And he doesn't even understand why it's such a tell, I'm sure. Hey, my chief of staff said she was a troublemaker and pain in the ass but I told him he should give it the old college try because she feeds me compliments all the time.

That's possibly the most honest Tweet he's ever sent.

Agreed. But I have to say, after my post-inauguration two week "let's give him the benefit of the doubt" trial phase had been completed it was obvious to me that the Dems should have worked up some kind of strategy where by they kept up a steady stream of compliments to further a liberal agenda.

And whenever the Dems were targeted for voting in some odious piece of legislation, just insist that they were against it the whole time and it was all Obama's idea (and fault).

Erdogan attacks Trump

"You act on one side as a strategic partner, but on the other, you fire bullets into the foot of your strategic partner.
We are together in Nato and then you seek to stab your strategic partner in the back."

Slide in Lira and turmoil in Turkish economy could hit European Banks and cause a slide in World markets.

Russian Foreign Minister is meeting with Turkish Govt officials tomorrow to talk about stronger economic and political ties.

Irony is that Erdogan and Trump are so alike in many ways.....

And worse still, he makes all around him, and the country itself, smaller too.

I think of the many other Presidents who tried so hard to do the opposite: to at least outwardly display the traits of generosity, respect, and kindness found in a good human being. And often would call on us to summon up the best from within ourselves: our higher instincts, thoughts, and behavior. Sure, every President had their own agendas, hidden or not, and many were not very good at achieving this type of inspiration. But most of them at least paid lip service to the idea that we as citizens should remember to apply in our lives the most laudable parts of our human nature, the high minded concepts and behavior our parents and schools had taught to us, the beliefs we felt proud of.

Trump does not just secretly seek to appeal to the worse parts of human nature; he rolls in it like a hyena in antelope dung. He celebrates it openly. I can't begin to describe how this makes me think of him and despair for the country. "Thou bloodier villain... Than words can give thee out." Macbeth Act 5 Scene 8

I would think the FBI would immediately execute a warrant to search Omarosa's everything as a matter of a threat to national security.

For all this talk about how super serious the situation room is, they probably shouldn't be using it for HR issues.

Multiple commentators are saying that what she did violated White House rules, but is not actually a crime under federal or D.C. law. They also seem to think that she probably didn't have a security clearance, which means she wouldn't have anything that the FBI would have reason to search.

The Nooz this morning played a recording of a phone call between Omarosa and Trump the day after she was fired. He didn't know about it and was basically apologizing to her. Fake News, I suppose.

I think it was very telling.

First, she has more than one recording. :p

Second, what a wimp Trump is, unable to actually fire someone in person except on a game show.

I think Kelly told Trump he wanted to fire Omarosa and Trump agreed to it. That phone call to her was to cover his ass in hopes she wouldn't say negative things about him when she left. As Kelly said, "to keep it friendly". Trump's lying in that call. Let me see if I can act surprised.

Nope.
That hypothesis makes sense. Maybe a better explanation than his a wimp. He's a real jerk getting someone else to take the reprisal.

I thought everything meant vagina.

Everybody talks about the Sit Room as if there are all kinds of top secrets posted around. Its nothing like that. All it really is is a sound proof conference room wired up for communications.

Wait, you're telling me that the White House Situation Room is exactly like CNN's Situation Room only without Wolf Blitzer?! The fools.
