Why not? If you're making up up one you might as well make up six. Or even seven. As the old saying goes : if you're gonna put your hand in the cookie jar, get it in up to the elbow.
And waddya know :

"That was one mill down from when he said the company was going to open seven on July 27."

Trump said, "U.S. Steel just announced that they are building six new steel mills."

Between restarts, new mills and expansions, the steel industry has seen significant investment this year. But Trump is wrong. U.S. Steel is restarting two shuttered mills. Other companies are re-opening or building a few other mills. We rate Trump’s statement False.
As I thought, mothballed plant is being brought back on-line because the local steel price has risen or is expected to rise.

Trump Tweets

"As long as I campaign and/or support Senate and House candidates (within reason), they will win! I LOVE the people, & they certainly seem to like the job I’m doing. If I find the time, in between China, Iran, the Economy and much more, which I must, we will have a giant Red Wave!"

"The Republicans have now won 8 out of 9 House Seats, yet if you listen to the Fake News Media you would think we are being clobbered. Why can’t they play it straight, so unfair to the Republican Party and in particular, your favorite President!"

Trump makes a good point.

And some question Trump's narcissism? I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't wear a cheerleading outfit complete with megaphone, pom poms, and a huge 'T' embroidered on it when he tweets.

Trump makes a good point.

No, he doesn't as he is totally misrepresenting what the news media is saying. They are reporting the numbers, including the percentage of votes each candidate has received which are very close in some cases.

The most digusting thing is that I think a great many GOP congressmen despise Trump behind closed doors and are under no illusion about his character, but still support him and do his bidding to keep their freaking seats.
A very strong argument for Term Limits. A congressional seat was never intended to be a long term career choice.

BREAKING: GOP Rep Chris Collins was arrested by the FBI this morning for insider trading, along with his son and the father of his son’s fiancée. Collins is one of Trump’s biggest supporters and was Trump’s first endorsement.

Makes you think about just how far endorsing 'within reason' stretches.

Oh, Trump and his supporters are doing such a wonderful job of cleaning the swamp.

I agree. Presidents have term limits for good reasons and so should members of Congress. I suggest two terms for senators and three for reps.

I'm not sure I agree. A single term or 2 term congressmen may just as likely to be compromised as a long term congressmen...maybe.

Isn't it easier to sell-out if you don't have to face the electorate to justify yourself?

Ike Perlmutter, who tried to get Kevin Feige fired from Marvel Studios? and whose de facto retirement from Marvle was greeted with shouts of joy since he was almost universary hated?

Yup and in exchange for giving Daft Taft money, he and two other guys have been running the VA for the last 18 with zero congressional oversight or awareness of the arrangement.

Main reason I favor Term Limits is a congressman might occasionaly make a unpopular vote against a popular but stupid bill if he knew he was only to be in Washington for a limited amount of time;that he was not going to make a career out of being a congressman.
Look at it his way Term Limits won't make things worse and might well make things better.

When members of C make it a career, I think they become more vulnerable to selling out to keep that career. The only way to minimize the "re-election sell out" is by having one term only. But that would also mean that we lose those with experience every election cycle and I don't think that's a good thing, either.
