So let me get this straight... Trump starts a trade war with pretty much the entire world, then suggests if you deal with iran you cannot to business with the u.s.

Wouldn't his threats mean more if Trump had not already turned the u.s into an unreliable trading partner to begun with? Either trade with iran or trade with a hostile u.s. who is going to impose tarrifs on all your exports iut if concerns over "national security".

Won't happen, although I hope Trump hears about it and whines.

President Trump is convinced that he is the world's finest business man and negotiator, in part because those around him and the entire GOP tell him that he is every single day. I think that he believes that he can compel Iran in particular (and the world in general) to do what he wants them to do through the sheer force of his will.

President Trump is no doubt convinced that he has executed a number of foreign policy coups:

  • He has personally ensured the safety of the Korean Peninsula by convincing the North Koreans to give up nuclear weapons. He has a signed bit of paper and things are progressing really well
  • He has personally held NATO together AND has persuaded those reluctant Europeans to cough up what they owe in contributions
  • He was catalyst behind Brexit
  • He has personally forged better ties with Russia and has taken the US/Russia relationship from the worst its ever been to having a great relationship between two great, powerful, men founded on mutual respect
  • He has torn up the worst deal ever with the Iranians and will doubtless outwit them, humble them and scotch their attempts to stir up the Middle East an to develop nuclear weapons

...and he knows this because no-one close to him will ever contradict him.

I've been holding off getting citizenship for a while now. No real desire. Though the Trump administration has made me thinking about it again, just so he wouldn't be able to deport me for stupid reasons.

Looks like he's decided on stupid reasons in general. Denying people because of Obamacare? The man is deranged.

Fortunately , I don't fall into any of the categories, but this is idiocy.

Rather than guess, if you could find someone saying so, your claim would be a bit more believable. It could be that conservatives haven't an opinion on the death of the conifers. Weird, right?

Well there is a thread where various people propose an explanation but this is denounced by the Trump supporters - I think it's because they don't like the evidence.

Well, let's not go too far - Lemon has said a lot of painfully stupid things in the past. I'm not sure quite when he went from "that embarrassing guy" to the man he is now, but I do appreciate the change.

RE: Candace Owens: any black person who talks about the "democrat plantation" is simply out to take money from the more dimwitted racists among republicans, but Owens is a scammer even among that crowd - she used to be loudly anti-Trump, and created a doxxing website - and that's not to mention her working for a group that regularly updates a list of college professors and students to harass and threaten.

In other words, if you view her as anything approaching honest, then it means you're the mark.

Back in the real world, black people, and especially black women, have been very active in crafting democratic policies in the hopes of lessening violence and discrimination, while the GOP is basically the white supremacist party now.
 
Has anyone else seen the Trump YouTube ads where there is a picture of him asking people to combat fake news and take a media accountability survey?

They've actually been running for a while but I also saw a poll recently where 43% of republicans think Trump should have the power to shut down bad media.

I wonder how long until they actually try something like that

A lot of Trumpkins/Republicans also answered that they think Trump should have the power to suspend the 2020 presidential election.
