Maybe he was thinking of one of those membership places? Or just making things up because he has never bought his own groceries anyway.

Either way.
I'm going to go with the latter. It fits the picture of someone who's hopelessly out of tune with the everyday life of an ordinary American. Remember, he thinks health insurance costs $12 / year...

Paul Manafort worked for Ronald Reagan, Bob Dole and many other highly prominent and respected political leaders. He worked for me for a very short time. Why didn’t government tell me that he was under investigation. These old charges have nothing to do with Collusion - a Hoax!

He's like a baby

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh! Why didn't other people do my due diligence for me

Apparently Eric Trump was on Air Force One down to Florida, despite having promised a firewall between him and his father since he would be running the Trump Org.

When asked why he was on the plane, a White House spokesperson replied: "I don't know."

Oh, and Trump has just pretty much told AG Jefferson Beauregard Sessions III to stop the Mueller investigation.

Poor thing - I suspect that when his father gave him that million dollar silver spoon, he scooped out some of his prefrontal lobe in the process.

Not a big deal at all. It's only potentially nefarious if they met on a tarmac in Phoenix.

Costco maybe. The only time I ever sat foot in one, the greeter shooed me out because I wasn't a member. Quite an exclusive club.

If Muller shows evidence that Trump is guilty (hell, publicly available evidence is out right now) and Trump isn't indicted (possibly after being ousted from his post), you cannot say that the US is a nation of laws.

In a democracy baded on a code of laws, nobody is above those laws.

If you are a POTUS convenient for GOP legislators you are apparently above the law.

Maybe he was thinking of writing a check at check-out? Some people still do that, to the exasperation of everybody behind them.

Or maybe he was just talking out of his ass. Don't make this more complicated than it is.

Well, Sarah Huckabee just said "When you bought beer and wine, I'm sure you had to show ID." Once again, moving the goalpost.

Neither Costco or Sam's Club require ID. Only a membership card. And you dont have to be the name on the card.

He wouldn't have listened any more than he listened when Obama warned him not to hire Flynn.

The argument is that the President can only be impeached (by Congress), not indicted (by the legal system).
While he is President. He's gotta be fair game before and after.
The problem is, he's old and out of shape (and probably in worse health than the recent official physical showed.) It wouldn't be a surprise if he dies from a KFC-induced heart attack the day after he leaves office.

I wonder how much immunity the president would have if some state attempted to go after the president.

You don't even need a membership card. You can go in (sans membership card and/or ID) as long as you are WITH a member.

(Although don't costco memberships have a photo on it to make sure the card is only used by the member?)

Yes they take your picture but I have two Costco cards in my wallet that don't have pictures. Also, they don't enforce the rule. I use to borrow my buddy's card all the time. If you pay with a credit or debit card it can be an issue, but with cash it is never a problem. Also you can go in with a member, but he has to make all the purchases.
