I think it is a joke to think Trump didn't know about it. Trump is the kind of guy to seek every advantage and no way does his kid NOT tell him about it.

Daft Taft said that he was going to give a major speech "probably on Monday on all of the things that have taken place with the Clintons," the same day that Junior agreed to the meeting with the Russian 'lawyer'.

Agreed.

Significantly, Cohen's lawyer refused to deny it, but did deny telling the press, and Mueller's team is...not known for leaking information. Like, ever. OTOH, we know of Junior's meeting because that idiot posted incriminating evidence onto Twitter.

He's like an idiot that beats up someone, and then runs up to a camera and shouts "World Star!"...to make a quick reference to some other recent occurrence.

But if true, and there's corroborating evidence, that would be...interesting. And I'm sure the press would be interested in knowing who, and why, this was leaked, again if true.

Anyone who thinks Cohen is just a bit part player in this had better think again. At least a hundred tapes have been seized from his offices... we have heard only part of one tape.

I suspect that Cohen has enough to bury Trump.

I know. When you put together Trump's campaign comments with the timing of the meeting it makes the claim that he didn't know anything about it absurd.

Trump isn't on all of them. It is my understanding that Trump is on maybe 10 of them.

While that is true, it could also be true that Cohen has recoded discussions with others, the subject of which is Trump.

Dolt 45 is certainly flailing and striking out at anyone he imagines has done him a disservice. Looks like panic to me.

Yes. Giuliani called Cohen a liar tonight. Which is precious coming from Rudy considering his non-stop lying for Trump as of late. I've never been a big fan of Rudy's but I use to think he was relatively honest. Now, he's become almost as bad as Trump. The chutzpah of these guys is amazing. They want people to ignore the evidence and just believe what they tell everyone.
 
If Trump colluded with Russia, then it was because he loves this country. He's absolutely, 100% not guilty. The obstruction charge is silly because, as Prof. Dershowitz says, it's impossible for the chief executive to obstruct justice when he IS justice. And Trump's said he believes meddling occurred, but this witch-hunt makes it difficult for him to go after the real criminals.

He didn't just call him a liar. He called him a pathological liar.

Because, as we all know, Trump only hires the best people. He would never have settled for just a liar as his go to attorney for over a decade.

The joke is that if you timeline everything including off the cuff remarks that Trump made, and Trump tweets around the time of the Trump Tower meeting, it is very hard to believe Trump's denials under the best of circumstances. Now you have Cohen, a participant confirming it.

This is like two kids with their hands and faces covered in chocolate trying to convince their parents that they didn't get into the candy. One of them realizes that they have been caught, but the second one is not going to let the evidence stop him from continuing to lie about it.

This has definitely been apparent for a while, but there was an article published either today or yesterday in which a source said that they were now "dead to each other".
