Trump does figure out the angles on how to personally profit from being President. His hotels and properties are making a killing from corporations, lobbying firms as well as leasing or selling properties yo Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Russia, Turkey and more. Then he's making a killing from charging the Secret Service for office space and renting golf carts.
 
Federal judge allows emoluments case against Trump to proceed

The ruling, from U.S. District Judge Peter J. Messitte in Greenbelt, Md., will allow the plaintiffs — the attorneys general of Maryland and the District of Columbia — to proceed with their case, which says Trump has violated little-used anti-corruption clauses in the Constitution known as the emoluments clauses.

Trump is living in his own reality, and this will not only come around to bite him in the butt eventually,but will bite the GOP in the butt as well.

The US has agreed to work towards lowering trade barriers with the European Union, Donald Trump said on Wednesday after a meeting with European Commission chief Jean-Claude Juncker.

Speaking from the Rose Garden at the White House, Mr Trump declared a "new phase in the relationship" between the two trading blocs, calling it a "very big day for free and fair trade".

"We are starting the negotiation right now but we know very much where it's going," he said.

The EU would increase purchases of liquefied natural gas (LNG) from the United States, President Trump said, making them a "massive buyer".

Wouldn't purchasing Gas be down to each individual state though? It's nothing that the EU as an organisation can do?

The devil is in the details. Does anyone really think it's some kind of victory for EU leaders to say this? This has been the goal of the WTO for the last 30 years. Nobody has agreed to squat. Trump takes a dump on the world stage and a non-agreement agreement is some kind of victory? Get real.

We have been down this road before.
Trump backs down under pressure, but then in a few days or a couple of weeks just doubles down on his original ideas.

He's backing down under pressure from business leaders and the Republican COngressional leadership.
Watch, in a couple of weeks..or less he will double down on his original ideas.

That's where my bet lies. Inflation will be ramping up more soon, based on raws and labor that I am in tune with. And Trump is ragging on the Fed, who are the only folks who could put any real brakes on it quickly.

What is really disgusting is the hypocrisy of all concerened. Trump does not give a damn about religion,but he want to keep his base happy. The "Moral;" Evangelicals are willing to defend or overlook anything Trump does so long as he give them what they want;Banning Abortion and reducing the LBGH community to third class citizenship.
And both seem unfamiliar with that little clause in the First Amendment that absoutley forbids any state religion and the government favoring one religion over another. Excuse me while I vomit.
