Is it worth pointing out that considering potential options, which looks like what was actually happening there, is much different than "calling for" something? I find it totally believable and unobjectionable for a drone strike to be considered as a potential course of action. I would be strongly against it actually occurring, on the other hand. All this, of course, is kindly assuming the credibility of the information.
 
Assange had nothing to do with Snowden. Which reminds me, I wonder if Trump and Putin discussed Snowden.

It's really on the level of those "Hillary Clinton wants to start World War 3!" clowns. Best leave it to crackpots on Youtube or Twitter.

Agreed. It's utterly ridiculous. A drone strike by the US on the grounds of NATO ally is about as believable as calling it in the middle of Manhattan.

Discussing "legal and non-legal" methods is not discussing "legal and illegal" methods, but is obviously discussing remedies through the courts and those through, say public opinion trying to convince the public that Assange should be handed over.

I see the Trump brown-nosers raced to see who could suck up to their idol the fastest. Sadly, I think they represent Trump supporters, the majority of whom blindly believe whatever Trump tweets. They fail to accept that Trump lies. And lies. And lies. And lies. It doesn't matter how any times his lies are exposed by facts. They don't care. Trump may be incompetent in many areas but he is a master at playing his base. All good demagogues are; they know exactly what their base wants to hear and gives it to them. And they just suck it up. That SNL skit "What Really Matters Anymore"? is closer to the truth than comfort allows.
 
It's kind of amusing that Page is saying the redacted FISA application shows how ridiculous the charges against him are when we only see about a quarter of the total document. There are still pages that are completely redacted. I might agree that the charges aren't supported in the application, if I only say what wasn't redacted. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say there's lots of really interesting stuff about Page under all that black magic marker.
