Yea, me too.

Trump keeps proving over and over that he is either corrupt, massively moronic or both.

I cannot understand how people like Logger and The Big Dog keep supporting this treasonous ignoramus. Is it simply, yeah we know he's a sleazy moron, but he's our sleazy moron?

All politicians are corrupt or moronic or both. All politicians are sleazy morons. We haven't had a president who wasn't a sleazy moron since Lincoln, probably.

No, they are not. It's nonsense to say that. It shows you are playing a dumb game of false equivalences. None were perfect. But some amazing capable men have held that position. Trump is lazy, corrupt and far out of his depth.

Wouldn't it be possible that Manafort and Bernie's guy would have common cause to do oppo on Hillary? Sanders might not even know about it. I don't know much on this subject though.

Trump keeps saying he couldn't have colluded because he'd never met Putin  and it was Obama's job to do something about it - but Obama did do something about it. Besides, Manafort's activities were pre-campaign! Well, isn't it the case that having shady people on your staff, no matter how long or short their tenure, reflects badly on you, the boss? It sure used to be that way.

Posts like this are really beneath you. I disagreed with nearly every policy Reagan and Bush sr. proposed, but they were not "sleazy morons", nor I do think for a second you believe that.

Reagan brought us Iran-Contra, which was both sleazy and moronic. Bush senior was former CIA, one of the sleaziest and frequently moronic organizations around.

But where's your love for Kennedy, Carter, Clinton, and Obama?

ETA: Oh! What about "trickle down economics"? You don't think the guy who pushed that narrative was sleazy and moronic?

There are differences in degrees.

HW wasn't brilliant, but decent. His son was a little eager for a war in Iraq, but not like Trump. Obama was mostly okay.

Trump's a whole other story.

Wow. No question Reagan's staff was corrupt. Over 200 people that worked for him were indicted. I DON'T think the CIA is sleazy and moronic.

Carter graduated 3rd in his class at Annapolis. He was very smart and honest maybe to a fault. Personally wrote a dozen books.

Clinton was sleazy and also extremely smart. Rhodes scholar and extremely well read person. I tried to keep up with his reading but couldn't. I also don't think pushing the trickle down economics narrative sleazy. Just accurate.

JFK was smart but a so so President. LBJ was very savvy. If it wasn't for Vietnam, he would easily be my favorite President. Eisenhower was smart and very honest.

It basically he is finding it more and more difficult to defend Trump actions, so he has to resort to "he is no worse then"..which is BS.
I think quite a few Republicans are in state of denial about what has happened to their party under Trump.

This whole line of reasoning is just plain pathetic.

I can't think of any other American President who spurned our allies in Europe and is embracing a brutal right wing dictator whose ultimate goal is the overthrow of American Power worldwide so he can move into the vacume.

Trump's a whole other story.
And the hypocrisy of the GOP is a whole other story with Trump as well. How Pence can hold his evangelical nose and worship Trump in public is a study in how dishonest some Republicans can be.

Pence doesn't care that Trump repeatedly and constantly breaks several Commandments:

Thou shalt not bear false witness/lie. (He lies several times a day on average)
Thou shalt not commit adultery. (On all three wives)
Thou shalt have no gods before me. (money, power, but mostly himself).
Thou shalt not steal. (He stiffed contractors and employees but paid himself.)
Thou shalt not covet. (He thinks he deserves everything.)

One of the linked tweets says this:

If this guy was a veteran Democratic campaign manager, it's no surprise that Sanders hired him. I'd withhold judgment about whether Sanders is in cahoots with the Russkies.

Hence the "ifs." There's not enough information currently available to say much, after all, and, as far as I've seen, there aren't any clear signs of quid pro quo or generally pro-Russia moves made by Bernie or his campaign, unlike what happened with the Trump and his campaign. It's certainly possible that there's something there, but there's not really much cause for suspicion of wrongdoing on Bernie's side... yet, at least. We'll see what the future holds.

Good response.

Thank you. For better or worse, I value my principles far, far above the political party that I'm officially part of. That that party happens to be the most reflective of the values that I hold is the main reason that I support them in the first place.

Yup, standard GOP false equivalence and propaganda. Predictable. It's like the GOP clings for its life on the trivial confirmatory threads of truth that they can rip out of the bigger picture that shows that what they wish were the case is utter and complete nonsense. Yes, your higher up guys right now are almost all sleazy and/or moronic. I got some advice for you. Get some better guys. Hold your guys accountable. Stop just letting your guys be so bad and trying to hand wave away the problems with the false "that's just the way things are!" mentality. That's the kind of mentality that's allowed your party to descend from the grand party that it once was into this mockery of pigs rolling around in the mud.

The Telegraph:

The CIA had a top secret informant close to Vladimir Putin who confirmed the Russian president’s personal involvement in hacking the 2016 US election, it has been claimed...

The information, and the source, were reportedly considered so sensitive that John Brennan, the CIA director at the time, gave details to Mr Obama in an envelope, separate from the daily presidential intelligence briefing that is delivered in the Oval Office, the New York Times reported.

Wow, can you say treason? Trump should learn the identity of this source and alert President Putin immediately.

Since the goal of Russian interference was to weaken Clinton, it would be surprising if there hadn't been an effort to support Sanders; pretty foolish to pretend otherwise.
