Did no-one else notice that Trump still thinks Ireland is part of the UK?

He was asked about Brexit and mentioned the people of Ireland (not NI) and Scotland as having voted for it, then went on to boast he had property all over the place, including Ireland. (He does not have any property in NI, so he really does not seem to know the Irish Republic even exists.

I know he has said and done a lot of stupid things, but surely this is the most moronic, ill-informed comment he has ever uttered?

Ha, I ninja'd you :P

And Strawberry might have noticed that he referred to parts of the UK, like Ireland.

The Ghost of Winston Churchill is probably not happy about an idiot like Trump being honored at his ancestorial home.

Trump says Mayor of London Sadiq Khan is responsible for the terror attacks on the British capital.

He has “done a very bad job on terrorism by allowing so many migrants to come to the city"
Doesn't Trump know that the Home Office is in charge of immigration policy, not a city mayor?

But we come down to his real reason for the attacks on Khan, he thinks the protests against him should have been stopped. “I think he has not been hospitable to a government that is very important. I represent the United States, I also represent a lot of people in Europe because a lot of people from Europe are in the United States.”

I don't think he realises that money spent on defence in Europe doesn't get given to the USA.

If you took out what we spend in the INDOPACIFIC, AFRICOM, NORTHCOM and SOUTHCOM AORs, we probably don't spend two percent of our GDP on NATO defense. I'm not sure how you figure what exactly goes to support NATO but expecting four percent from countries with only regional security concerns seems a bit unrealistic. It all gets a bit complicated when you figure that Air Force wings, Army Brigades and Navy and Marine Corps vessels and MEUs could go anywhere.

I don't know how you'd sort this out but I suspect that we don't spend two percent of our GDP on our NATO commitments.

What he meant to say is that he wishes only people who descended from Europe lived in the United States.

We clearly have to up our game in the US. If the people of London floated the "big baby balloon" we need to ask Canada to hold our beer and do way better at insulting Trump.

I think I have photoshopping down but how would you go about getting an image printed so it was about half the size of a football field? I assume you'd have to print it in panels and put them all together sort of like the old "AIDS quilt".

I understand someone cut a "F... Trump" into a London area field... in Cyrilic. :D

(haven't seen a pic myself... anyone?)

Seems like Trumps trip to the UK is coming along nicely. Love that interview in the sun. He's literally crapping all over Theresa May, the host who basically invited him to the UK against just about everyone else's wishes. The thing that's so funny about this whole ordeal is that Trump really doesn't have a clue of how terribly ungrateful and offensive his behavior is.

"Funny" isn't the word I'd use.

And he hasn't literally crapped all over Theresa May ... so far.

Ingraham is claiming Trump is honest and transparent and she thinks that accomplished 'more than Bush or Obama' did.

Someone should tell her Trump is lying about his accomplishments.

LA Times: Trump claims victory at NATO despite allies' denials, then ignites furor in Britain by attacking prime minister

Guardian: Donald Trump claims tax cuts have led to 'economic miracle' as trade war looms
Trump made a series of exaggerated claims about the US economy, which has continued on a trajectory of growth that began in Barack Obama’s first term. He also skipped recent signs of less healthy developments. ...

According to a forecast by economists at Oxford Economics, the tariffs, which are already squeezing farmers in the midwest, could cost hundreds of thousands of jobs.

Analysts also warned that the tax cut was designed to benefit the wealthiest Americans, including Trump personally. But it has nonetheless proven popular among Republicans and perceptibly lifted Trump’s approval with voters outside his political base.
