Given W.D.C's excellent appraisal of the spectroscopy set up, I was going to pass on firing off any emails, as it appeared to be a settled matter. However, given the above, I think they need to be sent. Let's see what some experts in the field think, eh? Happy with that Markie?

That's probably a good idea. I really appreciate WDC's information - an attempt at some honest analysis. Unfortunately I cannot see the angle of incidence anywhere in the paper which has a significant effect on the equations that he listed. Also, although Horiba lists the 2400 grating as the "optimal" grating for 325 laser, that does not mean that other gratings may not be used for certain applications.

I would like to understand this statement at the end of page 24 in the paper in question:

"The excitation was deemed to be by the high-energy UV and EUV He and Cd emission of the laser wherein the laser optics are transparent to at least 170 nm and the grating (Labram Aramis 2400 g/mm 460 mm focal length system with 1024 X 26 pixels CCD) is dispersive and has its maximum efficiency at the shorter wavelength side of the spectral range, the same range as the 260 nm band. For example, cadmium has a very intense line at 214.4 nm (5.8 eV) that matches the ro-vibrational excitation energy of H2(1/4) in KCl matrix
25 based on the e-beam excitation data [10]. The CCD is also most responsive at 500 nm, the region of the second order of the 260 nm band centered at 520 nm."

......ah and then THAT means the real data and results are being suppressed since in markie's world Mills cannot be wrong.

Can you imagine living the life Mills and his supporters think scientists actually live?

Drones plodding along repeating old experiments to re-prove existing dogma. Who pays for it? How do these scientists earn a living if all they ever do is re-prove what is already known? What is the POINT of being a scientist if actual progress and innovation has been stamped out of you?

More importantly, who would even finance an operation that consisted of dogmatic adherence to what was already known? What's the return on investment for a corporation?

I think the target is just a bunch of people with money and a gambling mentality. And by gambling mentality I mean those who'd lose their fortune to the roulette while thinking they're keen gamblers like a successful poker player. For those ones all of Mills' (papers, misdirection and even criticism) makes up "a reasonable risk". That's why he'll always get some investors no matter how repetitive and ludicrous his activities turn out to be.

There's a sucker born every minute, and Mills knows how to milk them without attracting regulatory or law enforcement attention.

He's much better at the "perpetually failed invention" scam than Thernaos was.

LHC is for really high energy, whereas hydrino is more on the chemical scale of energy. But soon labs WILL be falling over themselves to explore hydrino chemistry. By soon I mean the next 5 years. There is a crack in the damn and when the water starts coming out in increasing amounts the quantum village in the valley better brace themselves for impact.

I've set a reminder on my calendar for July 5, 2023 to revisit this post and ask if there are any labs doing hydrino research. At this time I'm predicting there will be only one: whatever name Mills' company is running that that time.

Assuming of course Mills hasn’t been assassinated by Big Oil(tm) and Big Physics(tm) black ops agents and his technology destroyed.

Indeed. I've had a bit of a brainwave about this. Rather than trying to get information from the manufacturer, or dragging Prof. Kunze into a subject he may be heartily tired of, I realised that I had encountered a chap on the Rosetta Blog, who may fit the bill very well.
Prof. Harvey Rutt, is the chap in question.
Very much anti-woo, as he showed in discussions on the Rosetta Blog, and I also recall that he engaged the handyman/ gardener, Crothers.
I'll try to put together something coherent, and drop him a line.

I'd still contact the manufacturer. Nobody is better placed to say whether or not their equipment is being misused.

Oh, yes! Because QT has no capabilities used nowadays in real life while Mills' do :p.

QT has been holding back research. Research is progressing because of diligence and smarts in the lab and experimental knowledge preservation and retrievability. One can discover the phenomena of nature without fully understanding the mechanism.

When Mills' GUTCP becomes the basis of pure research in labs around the world there will be more understanding and less of a look-up cookbook mentality.

But you knew better ... that I was referring to your discovery of schollar.google.com and your bravery in using it together with Wiki to build and ability to develop pseudo-scientific sophisms over a unspecific run-of-the-mill education, all in support of your passionate advocacy.

Don't forget Mills' book itself. From page 41 of Mills GUTCP

The following observables are derived in closed-form equations based on Maxwell's equations: the magnetic moment of a Bohr magneton, Stern Gerlach experiment, electron and muon g factors, fine structure splitting, Lamb shift, hyperfine structure, muonium hyperfine structure interval, resonant line width and shape, selection rules, correspondence principle, wave particle duality, excited states, reduced mass, rotational energies and momenta, spin-orbit coupling, Knight shift and spin-nuclear coupling, closed form solutions for multielectron atoms ...

Yeah I cut it in half in an attempt to avoid the moderators knife.

QT has been holding back research...

Hello!!! Oh, yes! Because QT has no capabilities used nowadays in real life while Mills' do :xtongue.

Replying what you have not being said is a well known technique of sophistry. I bet you have also progressed in using those techniques as you sank deeper in Mills' "ideology".

The goalposts appear to be shifting. I thought you believed BLP will have something that unambiguously demonstrates hydrino technology by early next year. Do you expect scientists to not be immediately curious about how it works?

'Unambiguously' despite appearances is still surprisingly subjective, but yeah around that time I still think. A relative few labs will engage shortly thereafter imo but the vast majority will be underwhelmed and/or busy enough with their timetables and contractual obligations to engage so soon (before a number of years pass).

Oh by all means, consult experts in the field. Furthermore, the various experimental procedures in the paper are meant to be quite easily replicated.

Apart from the part where the orbitsphere isn't a collection of individual particles, but a single solid sphere.

As a solid sphere it is inherently unstable.

As a collection of individual particles they would be unable to orbit in tandem, but would inevitably cross paths, crashing into each other and causing a catastrophic collapse of the system.

Just because the net gravitational force is the same doesn't make it a stable system.

It's a flowing membrane of mass and charge going in all directions simultaneously on a 2D surface. So the term 'solid' doesn't do it justice. It's very dynamic. Just like you can accept the fact that EM fields can superimpose to an infinite degree, it shouldn't be too much of a stretch to imagine this sort of superposition happening on a 2D surface.

One of the many entertaining aspects of crackpot behavior is its tendency to reject broad areas of mainstream science, even as its few technical arguments appeal to that very same rejected science:

Raman spectroscopy is based upon a quantum effect. If the quantum village were doomed, all results of Raman spectroscopy would be considered suspect.

Raman spectroscopy works despite quantum theory.

To dispute that particular statement effectively, you'll have to come up with an angle β for which
sin β = 24000 * 1 * .0000785 - 1/2 = 1.384

Frankly I'm not sure of the correctness of your premises to begin with.
But if you want the solution for β how about
1.5707963267948966 - 0.85049046523124i

Hey electrical engineers use i to great effect. ;)

The aliasing I described won't occur when there are no signals at other modes that can alias to the signals you and Mills are interpreting as evidence for hydrinos. The fact that those signals appear only when a particular substance is analyzed is therefore irrelevant to the question of whether they are aliases of Raman shifts long known to mainstream science.

For sure if it is an alias there must be a signal elsewhere. If so, what known substance is producing such a signal? I don't think there is one.

The following events will transpire before Mills produces a commercial product that uses hydrino production as an energy source:

1. Time will ravage your body, wrinkle your skin and steal the strength from your limbs.

2. All you hold dear, in people, institutions and places, will crumble and collapse.

3. The sun will expand, engulfing the Earth, though all life will have long since perished on its baked, hot surface.

4. All the stars you see in the sky today will burn out and die.

5. The universe itself will lose all cohesion, as all matter drifts apart, the last star long ago dead and gone.

6. And, from the moment of the Big Bang, to the eons of empty, sightless void, the universe will STILL have NEVER seen the formation of a single *********** Hydrino.

Rowan's Hydrino work is being done with and for Mills, though.

Rowan has essentially contracted out to Mills, as far as I can tell.

Do you doubt the sincerity of the scientists at Rowan who have publicly gone on record to say positive things about Mills and his work that they have investigated?

Results suppressed? Try ignored. And Mills has been wrong on things. He is after all still human.
