His motion will argue that Mr. Mueller’s appointment “was unconstitutional,” he said. Peter Flaherty, the chairman of the NLPC, said, “The founders feared exactly what we see in Mueller: a runaway federal official. We hope to see Mueller’s operation disbanded, once and for all.”

How many times are these morons going to try this and fail? Is this their only plan? Every right wing, Trump nut hugger that's trotted this stupid argument in court, has lost. Why do they keep trying?

Issa and Gowdy are in heaven in this hearing reliving their failed Benghazi and emails hearings as if they are now vindicated. They still want to convict Clinton of something, anything.
Funny(?) to hear Gowdy whine about how long the Trump investigation has been running.

It would seem no one knows who the 12 angry Democrats are or how Trump knows their political affiliation.

Rosenstein is a lousy witness, milquetoast comes to mind.

Raskin (Democrat) just brought up the length of the Benghazi 'investigation'. He's ripping into Gowdy's statements, turning his comments against the attacks on the FBI.

"Did you threaten to subpoena phones and emails?" Jordan asked.

Rosenstein fired back "No sir, and there's no way to subpoena phone calls,"

RR? Buddy? He said "phones' and you can sure as **** subpoena a phone ya smart ass

Republicans. The Party of Law and Order, except when it's them being investigated for committing crimes, then it's all a witch hunt.
Now that's not fair.

They also don't care about law and order if its a white supremacist committing a terrorist attack. After all, they're fine people.

Raskin pointed out the GOP controls all three branches of government, calling the thwarting of Garland evidence the GOP controls the SCOTUS.

Jayapal just called the hearing a sham 'emergency' hearing.

She's the second Democrat to note the humanitarian crisis on the border matters when this hearing doesn't.

Rosenstein repeated the statement they know where all the kids are, Jayapal cut him off with specific case where the wrong kids were listed to a parent.

Did any of them plead guilty to Russian collusion?

Actually, yes. This belonged in the Mueller thread, not the SCOTUS thread so I answered it here.

LA Times
Michael T. Flynn, a retired lieutenant general and Trump’s former national security advisor, pleads guilty to lying about his contacts with the Russian ambassador during the presidential transition. Flynn and the ambassador discussed sanctions imposed by the Obama administration in retaliation for Russia’s election interference....

Alex van der Zwaan, a former lawyer at a prestigious law firm, pleads guilty to lying to federal agents about his work with Manafort and Gates on a controversial report used to defend the former pro-Russian government of Ukraine against accusations that it had improperly prosecuted a political opponent....

Prosecutors tell a judge they began scrutinizing Manafort because they wanted to know if his longtime ties to Moscow provided a “back channel to Russia.” He has not been charged with any campaign-related crimes.

Fail.

Flynn was caught with a process charge. He pled guilty to lying to the FBI. The meeting he allegedly lied about was perfectly legal, and could not have constituted collusion to affect the election since it happened after the election was over.

Zwaan pled guilty to charges that have nothing to do with the Trump campaign or the 2016 election.

Manafort hasn't pled guilty, and even if he had, your own source says "He has not been charged with any campaign-related crimes."

My favorite part of a woo claim is when the claimant tries to support the claim with citations that contradict the claim.

My favorite part about people defending trump is when the defender pretends like getting charged with other serious crimes somehow exonerates them from others crimes just because they haven't been charged yet.

The dumbest **** I read on the internet is when people say, "He wasn't even charged with crimes related to the investigation." Who cares? He was charged with a crime.

You seem to have missed some details, like why Flynn and the others lied:
Flynn and the [Russian] ambassador discussed sanctions imposed by the Obama admin...

Alex van der Zwaan ... about his work with Manafort and Gates on a controversial report used to defend the former pro-Russian government of Ukraine ...

... [prosecutors] began scrutinizing Manafort because they wanted to know if his longtime ties to Moscow provided a “back channel to Russia.

I can see why you are excluding those little details.

Uh, Trump doesn't make mistakes. The people that need to know what it means will know what it means. #Covfefe

You and Trump are right; I am wrong. I would beg not to be sent to a re-education camp, but Dear Leader knows what's best.

GOP has become the POP:Party of Putin.

If there is nothing to hide, why are the Trump supporters here so scared of a investigation?

I care. It does exonerate them for the other crimes.
