Yeah. She didn't have much choice.

Otherwise the cops would have come in, pushed her around for a while, slapped handcuffs on her, and hauled her off to spend a few days in the hoosegow 'til she could get an arraignment.

Or maybe not. I think the cops have been cautioned to be more sensitive about their treatment of underprivileged minorities like white, right wing-nut Republicans.

Not that it would make them totally inaccessible, but I'm a bit surprised that Trump doesn't flush his entire Twitter history every few years (or months ... or days) just to make this sort of thing a bit harder to find.

To be fair, it's not like they refused to serve Dolt 45 or Sessions. Sanders is just a shameless liar who provides cover for a bigot - which still isn't a protected class.

A good starting point would probably be, oh, I dunno, maybe The Huckabee Family? I'm pretty sure Big Mike had opinions on that topic that run quite counter to the comments he's already made.

But we all know their counter arguments:

Well, after all, Trump voters started out as utopians, and still are. When convictions are skin deep and driven by peer pressure, the untethered drift toward mob rule and pure self-interest is guaranteed. I know a pacifist Quaker from this festival who moved to Canada to escape the draft, then came back and did community service. Now a rabid, string-em-up nutjob who "supports the troops" and "honors the flag." Seems that for most, "me" was and remains the core value.

I'd like to irony his shirts with him still in them.

Great song, though.
 
Chinese investment in the US is at its lowest in 7 years

The article is pushing the angle that it's a 92% drop on the same period last year, but from what little information they give you it looks more like that's an artefact of an abnormally high amount of investment last year and the year before, rather than an abnormally low amount this year. That said, though, it's still less than a third of what it was in 2015.
