"Elect more Republicans in November and we will pass the finest, fairest and most comprehensive Immigration Bills anywhere in the world. Right now we have the dumbest and the worst. Dems are doing nothing but Obstructing. Remember their motto, RESIST! Ours is PRODUCE!"

That makes perfect sense, when the leader looks like a pumpkin.

It really is just a typical example of the blinkered thinking of two party politics and those who occupy it.

We can't get our legislation passed - we need to elect more people on our side!

as opposed to:

We can't get our legislation passed - we need to come up with different ideas that more people will support.

He's read that book the preachers all go on about, the one with something about that Jesus bloke in it. Hang on "Jesus?" - that doesn't sound like a great American first name!!!

I doubt it.

I suspect he hasn't even had 'his people' brief him on it.

He might have a collection of Jack Chick tracts next to his bed, so someone can read them to him while he looks at the pictures.

"My Administration is acting swiftly to address the illegal immigration crisis on the Southern Border. Loopholes in our immigration laws all supported by extremist open border Democrats...and that's what they are - they're extremist open border Democrats...."

"Democrats want open Borders, where anyone can come into our Country, and stay. This is Nancy Pelosi’s dream. It won’t happen!"

Gosh, with a crazy man like that, you might find some states that had held back from making nukes start up again, while others get his blessing to make more, and others still start shooting unarmed civilians on the other side of borders. Gee, hope none of that happens!

Re: State law requiring presidential candidates to disclose tax forms...
I like the bill. I just don't know if it would pass constitutional muster.
Why do you like this bill? It seems like something that can be adjudicated by each voter.
I like it because I believe the public interest is served by knowing whether a candidate has potential issues in their past financial dealings that may affect their ability to govern. (Possible conflicts of interest, their donations to charity, etc.)

And while (in theory) a voter could still make a personal decision without the tax info, information disclosed in tax forms is virtually guaranteed to be accurate (compared to information from other sources that may possibly be incorrect).
