trump lies about crime levels in Germany.

"Crime in Germany is up 10% plus (officials do not want to report these crimes) since migrants were accepted. Others countries are even worse. Be smart America!"


He tweets

"Democrats are the problem. They don’t care about crime and want illegal immigrants, no matter how bad they may be, to pour into and infest our Country, like MS-13. They can’t win on their terrible policies, so they view them as potential voters!"
 
Trump further tweets

"#CHANGETHELAWS Now is the best opportunity ever for Congress to change the ridiculous and obsolete laws on immigration. Get it done, always keeping in mind that we must have strong border security."

"We must always arrest people coming into our Country illegally. Of the 12,000 children, 10,000 are being sent by their parents on a very dangerous trip, and only 2000 are with their parents, many of whom have tried to enter our Country illegally on numerous occasions."
 
Regarding the idiotic claim that the IG report exonerated Trump of collusion...

Is Trump (1) a liar, and/or (2) delusional, and/or (3) betting that his cult consists of abject dimwits who will believe any asinine thing he says?

Yesterday Trump said "The US will not be a refugee holding facility"
What then is he planning to do with all the people he's holding.

What's his thinking on the next step?

He needs to come up with a solution.

The problem is that enough people actively support this policy - or are at least don't want to rock the good ship Trump - to mean that they are perfectly happy with this situation.

IMO President Trump is not the cause, he is merely a symptom of the way that a surprisingly large number of Americans feel.

No idea if this Trump administration is trolling or tone-deaf, but the Department of State tweeting this today is, well, quite amazing.

We're putting kids in detention camps, and I have little doubt that we won't know the true horrors of this for a little while yet.

What sort of creature “infests”?

Vermin. Parasites. Roaches. Rats. Things you seek to exterminate.

We’ve seen other classes of people classified similarly - or identically - in recent history as being similarly subhuman.

The parallels are striking. Let’s hope we don’t turn a blind eye to this and continue down this well worn path.
