How's the view from the cheap seats? You've clearly never had to face a hard decision like "should we leave this place to get out of poverty, and avoid getting murdered and risk being detained in the US?". I'm sure you don't complain about your cheap produce. You'll watch children get separated from their parents and put in a camp for your own amusement while you choose not to think about why your groceries are so cheap. Your smugness rings hollow when it's perfectly obvious you have no skin in the game.

That's the whole problem. For many of the people who immigrate illegally, probably most, there isn't any legal way.
Many Americans wonder why all immigrants do not just come to the United States legally or simply “get in line” if they are unauthorized. These suggestions miss the point: There is no line available for unauthorized immigrants and the “regular channels” do not include them. Link

To be fair, the Bible does say that you should obey human authorities because they've been put there by God. It also says that anybody who insults another person will go to hell, so I'm not really sure that those claiming this separation of children and parents is Christian have thought it through.

Oh, and it also means that Obama was appointed by God, and therefore should be respected.

It also says "Woe to those who enact unjust statutes and issue oppressive decrees, to deprive the poor of fair treatment and withhold justice from the oppressed of My people, to make widows their spoil and plunder the fatherless."

Not to mention "when a foreigner resides with you in your land, do not oppress him."

That's the great thing about the bible. So many contradictions, so many ways to use it to prop up a point.

Doesn't the USA have a separation of politics and religion enshrined in its constitution? If so, wouldn't it make comments made by certain prominent US figures unconstitutional?

Could it be that it’s not as terrible as the dishonest people on your side say it is?

And surprisingly many are able to get it done. The others just want to steal it. I find it interesting that their motives to the left are considered pure everytime. This is the left when they need a new underclass for votes.
