The Trump Presidency VII

At least the hypocrisy of erecting tent camps for children in 100+ degree heat while being a member is avoided. Most countries that abandon any pretense of decency don't have the presence of mind to realize they don't fit on the council.

"Tent camps for children" pretty much says it all...

This is one area where I don't accuse Trump of hypocrisy. I deplore this situation, but the administration is pretty straight-up regarding its opinion on torture. Advocating for it may be more honest than pretending it doesn't exist.

Lol Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them to come unto me: place them into camps without their parents, for they aren't really people anyways, and who needs human rights? lol.

This proves that Trump is not a nasty, mean-spirited idiot. Oh, and that he is 100% not racist.

Did anyone look at this link? Whew! Hey, when a right-wing rag like the New York Post slams a fellow right-winger, they're obviously pretty bad.
[T]he president was talking about what he called Europe’s immigration problem when he turned his attention to the Japanese leader. "Shinzo, you don’t have this problem, but I can send you 25 million Mexicans and you’ll be out of office very soon,” Trump said, the Wall Street Journal reported.

The final paragraph:
While the president has insulted America’s longest allies, he had nothing but praise for brutal North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un after their brief sitdown later in the week, calling him “a very smart guy” and “a great negotiator.”

Why does The Dunce insist on antagonizing U.S. allies while praising our enemies? With Putin lurking in the shadows, it is very ominous. What is really going on? Is Trump a traitor, secretly selling out America and American ideals? How is this all going to turn out? Scary times. :(

If you understand his mental illness, it's easy.

He imagines himself making great accomplishments. He ended the NK nuke problem. If the G7 would let Putin in, all Trump need do is ask him to get out of Ukraine and Syria. And Jared is going to solve the Israeli/Palestinian problem.

But when it comes to dealing with Merkel or Trudeau or anyone else in the G7, they call him on his ignorant ****. He can't keep that fantasy going in their presence. Of course after he leaves the G7 meeting he goes back to pretending he's a great POTUS, they really all love him.

It's all about the fantasy until the bubble pops, then he regroups his damaged brain and adjusts the fantasy, Trump is the greatest POTUS in the world... until that bubble pops and so on and so on.

Just watch him, you'll see the very obvious predictable fantasy pattern.

Oh, and when things look really bad for him, he goes to rallies to be cheered and adored.

I had the same thought. Even Trump's friendlies have sounded a little less friendly lately.

Is Trump a traitor, secretly selling out America and American ideals? How is this all going to turn out? Scary times. :(
I don't think it's a secret.

How it turns out depends largely on voters.

I find it interesting that Trump is pushing back on the G-7 narrative. I don't think his base cares much about offending allies, especially in a multilateral context. The allies are going out of their way to be understanding with Trump.

That photo of him with Merkel, Abe etc. must really be bothering him. Or it could just be bothering the person writing his tweets. When I first saw that photo I thought it was fake! But who in his camp would care about Merkel's relationship with Trump?

That's funny because Merkel thinks she has a dog she can't train to piss on the newspaper.

Neither claiming asylum and/or being brown is illegal.

Well that's the issue isn't it. The vile little elf would never break up a white family. We are talking about a modern politician who used the phrase "race traitor". The disgusting little ********** might was well wear a white bed sheet over his two for one Jos A Banks suit to work.

Remember when America was really great?

Linky.

So the US government is quoting cases allowing for the detention without trial and introduction of e.g. curfews on US citizens. Citizens who are not even 'suspects' but who belong to a particular sub-group who might sympathise with the enemies of the US. This is being used in the war on 'terror'. If I was a muslim in the states i would be wondering when the camps would open. Or if I belonged to whichever country a trade war was opened against. Make those Canadians and their fellow travellers or even the offspring of Canadians or even people who just speak French live in tents in Arizona.
