Really? Can we get them to stop using medicine and cars and computers then, as well as everything else we have today thanks to the benefit of science? I'd love to see them totally reject science and live miserable starving lives full of disease and pain, so that we who embrace science can live happily and healthily in a world free of these idiots.
 
Is the intention to keep this up indefinitely?

There are more IDiots out there than sceptics. If both sides get locked in a saturation bombing campaign, the IDiots will win. War of attrition.



Besides, it's- distasteful. Once this is accepted as legitimate behaviour by everyone, where will it stop?

If people who use Google stop at the first reference they find, I feel they and ID are perhaps well matched.
 
Up to sixth, now.

Of the five ahead, two are pro-ID (Intelligent Design Network and Origins), two are neutral or balanced (wikipedia and a special report from Natural History Magazine) and one is anti-ID (Skeptic's Dictionary).
 
As if skeptical organization message board members manipulating Google search results didn't PROVE to ID'ers that science is an exclusive club that wants to keep them out...

Our posts do show up on Google, you know.

I remember a story many moons ago on slashdot that said that google is smart enough to know when it's looking at a blog or a BB and will not use those in page-rank (tm) for fear of giving too much power to spamers. I don't think that linking to ID from this forum or from your signature will work for google bombing.

Judging by the software that is around google does index from blogs and wikies.
