I only do it this way because it’s fun watching the left bitch about the messenger.

If the messenger is known to be highly partisan and to regularly publish stories which are demonstrably untrue then it's justified to bitch about the messenger.

Of course if that same story is confirmed by more reputable news outlets then that's a horse of a different colour.

The story you linked to is the best part of 9 months old and isn't, AFAIK, supported by other news outlets, but then again I haven't looked too hard because if it was that much of a bombshell, it would have played out by now.

No, that obviously looks like you saying it.

Mueller isn't investigating Trump? Or Schneiderman hasn't investigated Trump? Or Mueller isn't working with Schneiderman? Because that's what I said. And I was using the article you posted as the source of that information. Is the article you posted wrong?

Logger, did you miss Squeegee Beckenheim's response here? I have been trying to figure out what your point is and I had some hope that your response to Squeegee Beckenheim would make it clear.

The point is "lol Liberals!" That's about as thought-out as his opinions get.

Fox is still running with the BS claim the FISA warrant to spy on the Trump campaign was based on fraudulent information for not disclosing the fact the dossier was paid for by Clinton. This has been debunked on several fronts but they continue to ignore that and pump out the alt-fact talking point.

In the mean time Darryl Issa, Trey Gowdy and Nunes are out there pushing the same CT of a corrupt FBI that spied on the Trump campaign. They are pressing for Mueller* to release the warrant to them so they can prove their imaginary version of the facts.

*Said warrant was to spy on Carter Page long before Mueller, wasn't it?

I kind of feel that way about everything connected to the Mueller investigation. If there were bombshells, we would have heard about them by now. I don't expect it to turn up anything.

Could be wrong. We'll see what's in the report, but the longer it goes on, the less I am inclined to believe that there will be bombshells.

I guess it depends on what you consider a bombshell, but all the attempts to shut down the investigation, the smearing of the investigators, and the advance preparations for discrediting any findings tells me that TrumpCo is not so sanguine.

I'd have thought that the longer it goes on the more likely it is to have found something, not less.

Unlike some investigations (or even White House administrations) I can think of, Mueller's operational security seems pretty tight. Nothing seems to leak out until some defendant's lawyer gets it.

He's still investigating. That suggests to me that he still has stuff he hasn't let loose of yet. The media has little choice but to keep rehashing over the stuff that has been released, and of course the Trump crowd is going to keep railing against nothing over and over.

Yeah, because all those indictments and guilty pleas are nothingburgers.

Ben Ghazzi investigation: 4 years, 0 indictments, 0 convictions
Hillary E-mail investigation: 2 years, 0 indictments, 0 convictions
Mueller, Russia investigation: 13 months 20 indictments, 2 convictions (so far)

And the Republicans want to shut it down.

Hmmmm.
