Based on Trump crafting a lie about the meeting being about adoption, and denying meeting with the Russians (which Bannon claims there is zero chance Trump didn't meet with them), and Don Jr's own admission the meeting was about "dirt on Clinton", I think it entirely possible they were negotiating the details of a quid-pro-quo for that dirt.

And again, I know exactly what you would be thinking had the whole thing involved Chelsea Clinton, a Kremlin-based lawyer, and the Russian hacking of Reince Preibus. You can't deny (honestly, at least) that this looks extremely suspicious.

You still can’t get past the fact everyone knew Wikileaks had these, Trump joked about it, he knew the Russians had them, he joked about it. There wasn’t any reason to give anything for them. They were clearly going to be made public soon.

Wikileaks didn't dump the emails until AFTER Don Jr's meeting.

And of course there was a reason for Trump to give something for them: they were valuable. Russia is not in the business of handing out charity.

But we always go back to the obvious point, which you never address: what if Chelsea had met with a Russian-back lawyer for dirt on Trump, Hillary was egging on Wikileaks to find GOP emails, and had lied about Chelsea's meeting being about "adoptions", and Wikileaks dumped thousands of GOP emails?

You're ignoring that because you and I both know what your reaction would have been.

I can’t imagine they would have very much value. Trump would have to know what they were about to assign any value.

You crack me up. Obama could probably kick your ass in most sports. I've seen him on the basketball court. I watched him hiking with Bear Gryllis in Alaska. He's without a doubt, the best physically fit President since Roosevelt.

Not sure why he's suddenly all upset, yet unable to counterargue, when I point out Dolt 45's obvious bigotry however. I mean, if being "mean" is masculine, then surely applauding ethno-nationalist terrorism would be a positive. vIt's almost as if logger simply doesn't think before he types...

And of course, Trumpers ignore the facts that all the economics Trump is taking credit for started with Obama's actions after the 2008 economic collapse resulting from GOP deregulation of the finance industry.

Trump hasn't done **** except taking credit for Obama's economy.
