In addition, the head of police who solved the Olsen case within days was...Wassisname again, whom PIP's claim 'rushes to conclusions'.

Shouldn't you be outraged that they haven't gone back to the crime scene to scour every inch of it for stray DNA or luminol stains they could arbitrarily match to Amy? Why should the discovery and arrest of a prime suspect with means motive and opportunity who left all the primary evidence (such as Rudy Guede) end the investigation for other random unconnected suspects perhaps somehow secretly involved with him? Maybe because in the Olsen case they hadn't yet put themselves in a bind by illegally beating statements out of three random people spawning a desperate investigation to connect to their later suspect ;)

In fairness I'm glad you don't want all this extra work done on the Olsen case, it proves you PGP have reasonable views outside the context of the emotionally charged Knox case.

Apparently, the guy who mowed down people in Toronto was an 'involuntary celibate' [=incel] and that was his motive. There are forums labelled 'incel' for them to release their frustrations towards the opposite sex.

In an Italian newspaper, it is claimed that one such group in Italy idolises 'Sollecito'.

'They are the members of some groups in which the hatred of women is the central theme. Like the Incel, they have their own misogynist slang: "The two thousand" for example are the "whores" very young, the "beta" are the losers, their idols are the Sollecito (which in fact some groups were misogynistic appreciated member) , the Misseri, the Bossetti, all involved (in different ways) in the murder of young girls.'

Looks like both parties have achieved their aim of infamy.

It is not anything to do with 'proving innocence'. The vast majority of vacated convictions are to do with technicalities (legal loopholes, lapses in police procedure) not because there is any exonerating evidence, such as someone else's DNA.
It is no coinicidence that behind Ferguson is the crafty 'death bed confessions extractor' Kathleen Zellner, who knows how to get key witnesses to retract their witness statements or get others to 'confess' in their place.

What an incredibly bizarre thing to say, considering there WAS DNA and prints left behind at the murder scene and they did not belong to Ferguson OR Erickson. So tell me again why you think Ryan isn't a good example of a wrongful conviction?

You're asking the wrong person. Vixen doesn't understand things about... well, yeah she just doesn't understand things in general.

And the police did not fully investigate sportswriter Michael Boyd whose story about his whereabouts was constantly changing.

As usual no citation as to which Sollecito.

But whatever. What would a day in this thread be without some getting viciousness for the day out of their system?

Here we go: yet another 'alternative explanation'.

<yawn>

For comparison, what do you call your explanation that the mafia rigged two court appointed university professors, an appellate court, and then a supreme court?

I said:

'This harsh sentencing isn't true of Europe, as evidenced by Rudy Guede being freed after just twelve years.' Er, twelve years hasn't arrived yet.

You sound terribly bitter, AnimalFriendly. Thanks for sharing.

Er, since 12 years "hasn't arrived yet" then try using the future tense and writing, e.g., Guede "will be freed". You're welcome.

Bitter?:D:p...because your silly errors of fact as well as logic are so easy to point out? Nope... just another moronic comment from clueless you.

Actually you have often sounded "terribly" a lot of things on this forum. And bitter is very much one of 'em.

'Being' works as future tense regarding a situation settled for a future event. Did you not have the Merriam-Webster handy before you misspoke?

Situation normal.

ROTFLMAO! Your statement wasn't remotely important enough to warrant consulting a dictionary. While I doubt your little "explanation" is even correct, even if it is, you still wrote clumsily to make your original point. Like you always do.

Oh and btw, Guede may be eligible for release at the end of 2018 but it's far from certain that he actually will be freed. Yet something else that makes your original point weak. Predictably so.

In addition, the head of police who solved the Olsen case within days was...Wassisname again, whom PIP's claim 'rushes to conclusions'.

Ummmm... not just the PIPs but the Supreme Court. Giacinto Profazio was the head of the Flying Squad in Perugia. You know, the ones whom Marasca highly criticized for their "stunning flaws, or amnesia, in the investigation and omissions in the investigative activity" and for their "frantic search for one or more guilty parties to consign to international public opinion, (that) certainly didn’t help the search for substantial truth."

Solving the Olson case wasn't difficult since there was surveillance video showing the killer walking with Olson to her home that night and his DNA was found in her apartment on a cigarette butt and a condom. Even the Perugia police could have solved that one without screwing up...maybe.

You like to denigrate Kathleen Zellner whom you claim is 'good at getting people to retract confessions and to get others to confess in their place'. But nary a word from you regarding Profazio being one of the interrogators who extracted a false confession from two immigrants in a rape case a couple years after the Kercher case. Nope. You're mum about that.

Speaking of 'alternative explanations', let's not forget these gems:

1. there could have been masked students waiting in lines for busses going to Halloween parties on Nov. 1 despite not a single witness supporting that claim.

2. Sollecito is left-handed despite contrary evidence because there is a picture of him holding something in his left hand.

3. Sollecito could have owned a Naparijini jacket and cap with red stripe despite there being absolutely no evidence whatsoever that he owned either.

4. The partial print on the pillowcase that matched the bottom of Guede's shoe could have been Amanda's shoe.

5. The alleged blonde hair found in on Kercher's body could have been Amanda's despite the fact that it was never presented in court and that it was very easy to determine if it was a natural or dyed hair.

6. Guede could have been able to see the cottage from his park bench despite there being tall buildings blocking the view.

7. The luminol revealed prints could have been in blood despite negative TMB test results.

And the list goes on and on.....

Ummmm... not just the PIPs but the Supreme Court. Giacinto Profazio was the head of the Flying Squad in Perugia. The PGP are living in 2008 when the case info was largely controlled by the police/prosecution and there was only a tiny contingent of mostly local friends of Amanda defending her. They've been oblivious to the case disseminating to a wider more knowledgeable group that has thoroughly refuted the prosecution's claims in every instance. The closest thing to an exception I can think of is Alan Dershowitz saying the prosecution had a case but not beyond a reasonable doubt, and it was clear he only skimmed a summary of the case. It's not so much PGP vs the PIP as it is a few dozen tabloid fantasists vs the entire educated world.

Solving the Olson case wasn't difficult since there was surveillance video showing the killer walking with Olson to her home that night

There was surveillance video of Rudy Guede, alone, scouting the cottage the night of the murder. And footage of Meredith arriving home, alone, a short time later.

and his DNA was found in her apartment on a cigarette butt and a condom.

Much like Rudy's DNA was found in the cottage in Meredith's genitals.

Even the Perugia police could have solved that one without screwing up...maybe.

If they had worked on matching the male DNA from the rapekit and identifying the man in the CCTV video first before making the wild assumption that the break-in must've been staged by a female flatmate killer and then beating a statement out of said flatmate in a rush to avoid her mom sweeping her off to America. Sure. Then none of us would know the name Amanda Knox, or Vixen for that matter. Pity.

You've been naughty, haven't you, Stacyhs? You claimed Toto said there were people 'wearing masks' and that there were no buses running.

Wrong, on both counts.

Here is Curatolo's testimony, from the horse's mouth (here the cout has designated him 'B.C', probably because there aleardy was an 'A.C.' (Antonio).

http://themurderofmeredithkercher.com/Antonio_Curatolo's_Testimony

I can't see anything impossible, here.

Curatolo did not say anything about Halloween. He said there was a rowdy group of people 'above' him who left after the bus turned up (there were local buses running) circa 11:00-11:30pm. He doesn't know they are 'going to a disco', that is just his assumption, as he knew buses to the Red Zone nighclubs ran 'Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays'. The point he was making is that Knox & Sollecito were not waiting for the bus, as they remained at the basketball wall after the bus left, with Raff popping down the steps periodically.

He says, the very next day he and his chums witnessed the carabinieri, forenic police and ambulance turn up at circa 1:00- 2:00.

She-eesh!

You have been proved wrong on the above by my providing the testimony of Curatolo himself. Would you like to acknowledge your errors now or will you do the customary "ignore it and pretend I was never proved wrong" bit yet again?

Place yer bets here, ladies and gents!
