Liked the first bit : not at all happy with the second.

"Sloppy seconds" is demeaning, there's no suggestion that Trump got seconds of any sort nor was any kneeling involved (by all accounts). Nor is the GOP kneeling : it's been bending over for a shafting by Trump for a year and a half and t's not over yet. At least Daniels's experience was fleeting.

What I mean, is that he knows how to stay the center of attention. Every day during the campaign we wondered, what crazy thing he would do next. In the past when other candidates would make blunders and gaffes, they would try and blow right past it. Trump just did something crazier until it became old news. And now that he is President, we can't help but pay attention.

Not only is there confusion about identity of DD, but apparently, now there's confusion about whether Cohen was Trump's lawyer, courtesy of Trump's Lawyer's (?) Lawyer..

What strikes me as odd about Cohen is that he had to take out a home equity loan to make the payment. For a high-priced lawyer operating at the presidential level in the nation's capital he ought to be making $130K almost every month. He's either in an extremely illiquid position or he's not the high-flyer he thinks he is.

But he stressed what he clearly views as the more serious questions he faced as independent counsel, when he learned about Clinton’s relationship with Lewinsky, a subpoenaed witness in the Paula Jones sexual harassment lawsuit.

“I think questions of presidential character are always important,” Starr said when asked about the multiple women who have accused Trump of unsolicited sexual advances and other misconduct. “They are endurably important. To say this is disappointing behavior — if true — is an understatement. It’s very upsetting.”

Ah yes. But it's only upsetting when it's the president, and when Ken Starr himself gets to hear and write the titillating material, even if it's only about consensual sex. When football players at the university he was president of committed actual rape and sexual assault, he ignored it.
