I once read an article in the NY Post that told about Chomsky getting an award. Should I assume that Chomsky didn't get an award... I mean, it's in one of Murdoch's more scurrilous rags, after all.

I don't really doubt that Kallstrom said as RT reported. I just don't think it's at all relevant, as you might as well be reporting what Mike Tyson thinks about the whole thing.

I didn't point out that RT is Russian state media in order to get people to question the veracity of the quotes. I do, however, think it's useful to point out when a poster is posting links to Russian state media (especially if they have a habit of posting links to Russian propaganda), and I think it's of note that Russian state media is publishing the story at all. RT is Russian state media, the purpose of which is to promote and aid Putin, and it's always worth bearing that in mind whenever you see what and how they're reporting - regardless of whether or not that story is true. The fact of the reporting is more interesting than the story itself.

Well, in my own CT mind, there's a pretty good chance that Kallstrom's part of the Giuliani cabal in the NYC FBI office. He was buddy-buddy with Giuliani during the glitter years post 9/11 and he's the chairman of the board of the low-rated charity that Donnie Johnny likes to give to, that Marine/LEO thingy.

So I think he has more credibility, due to his positions, than Mike Tyson or any other "not-involved" person. He ain't on my buddy list; I was just commenting that knowing who he is/was, I didn't have a doubt that RT presented his comments accurately.

Fair enough. Replace Mike Tyson with Hillary Clinton. We know how she feels about the whole thing. It's not really news.
 
I try to keep in mind that, while we're out here getting bloated indigestion from so many nothingburgers, the poor souls trapped on Planet Trump are desperately trying to grow potatoes in their own ****.

Do you really think anyone reading these threads doesn't know exactly what RT is, Mr "I post my delusional twitter guru so people can make up their own mind"? :rolleyes:
 
The Moscow Project has detailed the denials of contacts with Russia from Trump's team, alongside the known contacts, and who in the team knew about them. According to Kyle Griffin on twitter, this amounts to 81% of contacts that the House Intelligence Committee obtained incomplete or no information about. It's also worth noting that Trump's team were told right at the start of the transition that any attempted contact from Russia to any member of the team had to be reported to the FBI, yet none of them were.
