It's also against the law to consider such matters when hiring in the federal government.

But yeah, the FBI isn't held in the highest regard by the far left. Folks on the right who hate the FBI tend to be, you know, criminals. Both groups are often targeted by the FBI, but only one of them reasonably so.
 
People do realize that you can't enforce a contract if the contractual agreement is to violate the law, right? An NDA to conceal crimes is not enforceable.

The Dunce had been lashing out publicly at Andrew McCabe for over a year. This is from an NPR news report from December 2017:
McCabe is the deputy director of the FBI. And he in that role had a very important role in overseeing the investigations into both Hillary Clinton's email server and also the early stages of the Russia investigation. And President Trump spent a good part of this weekend [Dec. 23-24, 2017] going after him on Twitter in part because of something that President Trump has actually been going after him for since - let's go back to the archives again - October 2016, when he first started talking about McCabe on the campaign trail. If I recall correctly, an NDA is not enforceable against a public official in regard to their time in office either.

No Trump is afraid everyone is out to get him. And for good reason as Trump screws almost everyone he comes in contact with. Trump thinks he's special and the rules don't apply to him. Law enforcement scares the hell out of him because Trump is a criminal. Neither McCabe or Comey are Democrats. Trump is also angry with his own appointed AG.

Trump made all of his White House staff sign non-disclosure agreements, allegedly binding forever, although apparently not enforceable.

Leaving aside the obvious question of what a "hardened Democrat" is, why does Trump believe he knows the political opinions of Trump's team? Has he been having them investigated? If so, by whom, and who's paying them? Have they provided Trump with a dossier? And who else are they investigating?

Trump makes all of his decisions based on himself, a (newly-minted) Republican so he assumes everyone else is just as idiotic. Therefore he assumes that any Democrat will do the same. And since Meuller's investigation is "out to get me [Trump]" of course it is just littered with Dems.
