I don't know about US law, and this isn't quite the same thing, but it's definitely been the case in the UK where there's been sensitive news under an injunction where the newspapers are disallowed from mentioning certain names, or whatever, even though it's all over twitter and fully in the public sphere. I'd imagine this is much the same.

It isn't an NDA it is a settlement and she still has not released the texts and photos and what ever else was covered by it.

This is all numbing, and maybe that's the gameplan. This is the 13th presidency in my life and there's never been anything to compare to this. 'Cuz while those last couple of years of Nixon were an adventure (and the Viet Nam War made it all rather higher stakes than it should have been), the sheer volume of the Scandal of the Week with this administration is, well, as I said... mind-numbing.

It's like three to five major events a week. We had a guy escorted out of the White House because he's facing felony or grand larceny charges and the POTUS then says that he's happy to welcome to his crackerjack campaign team. And it barely gets notice because there's so much else going on.

It's at the point that if I click on CNN and see "Trump Takes Dump in Potted Plant Outside Grant's Tomb", I'll probably just shrug with the rest of you and say, "Hmmm, nothing unusual today, then?"

When you're as efficient and effective as Betsy (or any other Trump hire), you only need to work 3 days a week and you'll still get more done than Obama did in 8 years.

You guys are just jealous she's getting paid for a 40 week, but manages to get everything done in 24.
