The Trump Presidency (Act V - The One Where Everybody Dies)

No sign that the bolded part would matter to his voters, either. Good for the orange guy who walks into teenagers' dressing room and ogles ten-year-olds, I guess.

I've yet to find anything of substance in Trump's behavior to defend, but this hyperbole is a tad over the top.

That or "Miss Teen whatever" pageants have gone through a drastic evolution. [emoji14]

There might soon be a Donald J Trump Utah National Parks Highway. (To fit the entire title, the sign has gotta be yuge.)

And no, this isn't The Onion, an effort is underway to name a frontage road The Stormy Daniels Rampway.

Late to the party with that news item;Segnosaur beat you to the punch in this thread about 3 hours ago.....:D

Not hyperbole, but separate incidents.

There's video of Trump saying he's going to be "dating" a little girl in 10 years time

And, if that's inadmissible because he might just be being "cute", then is 13 young enough not to be considered hyperbole? Because he reportedly said he was "more sexually attracted" to Ivanka than his wife, and she was 13 at the time.

I'll buy all of that.

Yellow card (football style) to Mumbles for "poor sentence structure/missing punctuation".

:D

eta: Hard to keep it all straight... was there vid of the "date her in 10 years" (or whatever quote) that involved yet another escalator? I have a vague memory of such.

It's touched on a little further down in the twitter thread Squeeg linked to. Apparently they're now using the newspeak term "life-protected" which I've never seen before:

The article that elaborates on the Tweet makes no mention of life-protected either.

How does that contribute to a law preventing private insurance from covering abortions?

Granted I think the scumbags would love such a law.

My state has passed a law requiring insurers to cover birth control and abortions. The party of small government and state's rights will of course favor that over what Trump wants. (JK! I crack me up!)

I'm not 100% sure, but I think the idea that making the cost-sharing reduction payments "life-protected" would mean that private insurance plans that cover abortion wouldn't be eligible for subsidies. My understanding was that subsidy money already can't be used to fund abortions, so I'm not really clear on what this would change. I do remember that the proposed AHCA would have banned plans covering abortion from participating in the marketplace exchanges altogether, so maybe this is some version of that.

I take it back: Stormy Daniels' lawsuit is a brilliant move to get Trump of her back and let her tell her story. It might very well lead to criminal charges at least against Trump's lawyer, if he continues to shield Trump, or even Trump himself. At the very least, we will get to see Trump's text messages to Daniels and his dick-pics.
Lawyer Andrew Torrez has analyzed the lawsuit in his emergency Opening Arguments podcast:
https://openargs.com/oa154-stormy-daniels-is-a-legal-genius/

We will get to hear much, much more about this in the coming weeks.

I think both Karen McDougal and Stormy Daniels have said Trump does not normally use a condom. Nothing about abortions but I'm sure The Dunce has paid for quite a few. (Sounds like at this point in time, though, the prez is firing blanks.)

Former Playboy centerfold Karen McDougal (Donnie was doing her in 2006-2007) said Dumpster actually showed her off to his family:
The former Playmate wrote that she attended a January 2007 launch party for Trump's now-defunct liquor brand, Trump Vodka, where she was seated at a table with Kim Kardashian, Trump, Donald Trump, Jr., and Trump, Jr.'s wife, Vanessa. "We took pics together, alone + with his family," she wrote. McDougal also recalled that Trump's son Eric pointed her out when Trump asked him who he thought "was the most beautiful girl here … Mr. T said 'He has great taste' + we laughed!" Linl

McDougal says she also got a guided tour of the Trump lair in Trump Tower. The Dunce pointed out his wife's private bedroom, the one Melania uses when, "She wants to be alone." (Who can blame her?)

Is it hard to believe, we're discussing the President of the United States? And that these antics have absolutely no discernible political cost to him among his supporters? Hey The Dunce is probably privately thrilled all these revelations are coming out. He probably figures, 'Now everybody knows what a bad dude I am with the ladies.'

What a mutt! ;)

NBC report

Sarah Sanders on Stormy Daniels' lawsuit against Trump during White House press briefing:

"The president has denied the allegations against him, and again this case has already been won in arbitration."

She is so much better than Spicer at saying things that are both untrue and totally at odds with the rest of the sentence.

Spicer at least to me always looked like "did I really say that" or "god help me here I go again" whereas she seems to have no shame, which means she is good fit for Trump.

It strikes me that they are having to walk a very thin line here. If there is no relationship, then why the need for a restraining order?

Maybe I'm missing the nuances, but it seems something of a paradox to be unable to speak about the details of a relationship that doesn't exist.

You are under the mistaken impression that they need to give a logically self consistent position.

There’s been too much talk of Trump’s dick pics recently. Stop it.

I have to admit, I have been wondering about this very issue.

After all, considering that are numerous women that Trump has had sex with, and considering that many of these women are used to being photographed (they are often models, porn stars, etc.), then one should expect that there are at least a few Trump sex photos around as well.

However, none of these photos has surfaced as yet.
