Seems that a guy shot himself just outside of the White House fence.
What I wonder about is how can the Republicans spin this while also claiming to be a 'small government' party?Having the government interfere in a dispute between a company and a non-governmental organisation to me seems to be the total opposite. It's more a communist thing really.
Today is the 100th day Trump has spent at a golf course since becoming president.
For comparison, one of the main things Trump criticised Obama for was playing golf too much while president. Obama spent a total of 333 days at golf clubs in 8 years.
"This guy works 20 hours a day. He doesn't need the job. He doesn't need the money. He doesn't need the power. He had all that already. I think it's about doing a good job. His ego will not let him do anything but a good job. Because he's driven. You want someone driven in there that will do a good job. Because we need to fix things fast. Our infrastructure is a joke. I want a builder. The guy's a builder. I want a builder." Link

I read the book. I don't recall any such claim.Trump spends all of his time playing golf and watching television. He has no time available for an affair and just doesn't seem to be doing that. But he has to be doing that because that Foxx author guy says he is and we can't start doubting his accuracy and integrity because he wrote that Fire and Fury book. Oh crap, we almost forgot all about that book. Who cares if any of it is true or not anyway. Trump is just bad to the bone no matter what.
Apparently so. The tariff tease* took almost everyone on his team by surprise. Clearly it wasn't a planned rollout. According to inside sources, Trump was worked up about the various scandals and acted on impulse. Is this accurate?

"There has been disarray in the White House before but this time, observers said, the checks and balances that have provided a modicum of restraint appear to be crumbling, leaving Trump isolated, angry and ready to lash out. It is, they fear, not inconceivable that the world’s most powerful country is now being guided by instinct, by impulse, by whim and by mood swing."

I figure that if his moody, impulsive actions wind up with tariffs, we're doing ok, if you consider the alternatives.
* In that it was in typical And on next week's episode style, as the Huxster-In-Chief is so fond of.
How about: “It just goes to show how smart he is, saying all the right things to get elected so he could Make America Great Again! Which is what you do when campaigning. Same thing with getting help from Russia. You’re secretly just jealous of his skill.”
The EU not the UK.
Is the guy with the nuclear football with him when he attends dinners like the one he's supposed to tonight? Wouldn't it be unsurprising if The PDJT requested it and did something just because he could?

That's only 32 days less than an entire year. A whole year playing golf during a presidency! There ought to be a comedy written about the ridiculous luxury of being the president of America.
If the E.U. wants to further increase their already massive tariffs and barriers on U.S. companies doing business there, we will simply apply a Tax on their Cars which freely pour into the U.S. They make it impossible for our cars (and more) to sell there. Big trade imbalance!
