1) I’m still not 100% clear on how you get huge savings in 2017 from a tax bill that goes into effect in 2018.

You should ask Buffet, as the claim is reportedly his.

2) Buffet runs a publicly traded company. Those gains are spread around to individual investors, big and small. And mutual funds, pension funds, IRA’s and other retirement funds. I’m sure Buffet benefits bigly, but he’s far from the only one.

Nobody has claimed that he is the only person who profits when his company profits.

By the way, ...

Just so that everyone knows, it is inappropriate to ask Ivanka Trump about the sexual assaults that are made by her father. So please keep that in mind if some Forum member ever gets a chance to chat with the First Daughter.

Ivanka Trump: 'Inappropriate' to ask her about father's accusers

Washington (CNN)Ivanka Trump does not believe the women who have accused her father of sexual misconduct, adding that it's "pretty inappropriate" to ask her about the subject.

Asked by NBC News if she believes the accusers, Trump replied, "I think it's a pretty inappropriate question to ask a daughter, if she believes the accusers of her father, when he's affirmatively stated that there's no truth to it. I don't think that's a question you would ask many other daughters."

...

The President has denied all the allegations, and at one point during the 2016 campaign, threatened to sue his accusers, though he never did.

The first daughter previously described her father's remarks in the infamous "Access Hollywood" tape, in which he bragged about being able to grope women as "offensive" and "crude."

...

In her 2009 book, "The Trump Card," Ivanka Trump revealed that she experienced sexual harassment "many times" on her father's work sites. In those cases, she said, "the workers never realized I was the boss's daughter when they started hooting and hollering."

Trump, re the school shooting: “I really believe I’d run in there even if I didn’t have a weapon.”

Compare and contrast with his reaction when a protester gets onto a stage where he's making a speech (its within the first 10 seconds):

Has Trump ever demonstrated personal courage about anything in his entire life?

Off hand, I cannot think of a single thing that he has ever done which shows personal courage on his part.
Well, he did date women in the 90s. With the risk of STDs, he claimed it was just like his own personal Vietnam.

"It’s amazing, I can’t even believe it. I’ve been so lucky in terms of that whole world, it is a dangerous world out there. It’s like Vietnam, sort of. It is my personal Vietnam. I feel like a great and very brave solider". Trump said in the interview when Howard Stern asked how he handled making sure he wasn’t contracting STDs from the women he was sleeping with. The business-mogul-turned-politician elaborated on the fact in the interview, calling women’s vaginas “potential landmines” and saying “there’s some real danger there.”

Now, be fair. give the full context of the quote.

"I would run into a schoolgirls' changing room at any time, I really believe I’d run in there even if I didn’t have a weapon.”

Wow!

I wonder if the First Daughter has heard this bit.

Sarah Huckabee Sanders just clarified that when President Trump said earlier that he'd have run into the school with the active shooter, he didn't really mean that he'd run into a school with an active shooter but rather that he'd "be a leader"

It is a constant source of amusement that he needs people to tell the public that his words actually meant something else. He sure has a hard time with the meaning of words.

Trump on @WTO today: "The World Trade Organization makes it almost impossible for us to do good business. We lose the cases, we don't have the judges. We have a minority of judges. It's almost as bad as the 9th Circuit."

"The US wins 90% or cases it brings against other countries. (It tends to lose when other countries bring cases.)
No country has a majority of judges on a WTO panel hearing its cases - all of the judges are from countries not involved in the dispute."
