The language used by me at the DACA meeting was tough, but this was not the language used. What was really tough was the outlandish proposal made - a big setback for DACA!

What's really pathetic about this particular lie is that the only people who are going to believe it are those who fully agree with and approve of what he actually said.

In what way and in what world are they NOT ******** countries?

They ARE :rule10 countries. But that's not the point. The point is the President should be above flat-out racism.

It's fine for you, because you're a nobody on the internet. But we are supposed to hold our leaders to higher standards.

The reason these people want need to come here is because they live in these bad places. And that's the whole reason this country was FOUNDED in the first place.

You people need to slink back into the shadows and under your rocks.

Veterans first, no people from ****hole countries!

I wonder how many health care workers who take care of veterans are from ****hole countries.

Actually from what I've read he was a career diplomat, and while he was appointed to the Panama post by Obama, he 1) was confirmed by a republican-controlled senate, and 2) actually worked with the republicans at times (serving with Colin Powell and Condolezza Rice for example). Certainly nothing there to indicate that the appointment was motivated by politics.

A few notes about the story:

- Supposedly Feely handed in his resignation before Trump's "****-hole" comments. If so, then I wonder if there was a specific event which caused his resignation

- A statement by the Under-secretary of state was that he resigned for "personal reasons", which seems to contradict the "can't serve Trump". (unless of course the Trump thing was the personal reason that was referred to.)

As for a replacement... keep in mind that there is currently a huge backlog of empty positions that the Trump administration has to deal with.

His own words are different.

Trump probably wants to invade the Canal Zone, Bad Deal for America!

In what way and in what world are they NOT ******** countries?

If you really do want an answer to this inane question, then you go to these countries and call them ********* so that literally nearly everyone in the world can you hear describe them as such.

Then you will get your answer in a very short amount of time.

Over a billion for an embassy?

I can get a packet of twenty king size for £7.30

They ARE :rule10 countries. But that's not the point. The point is the President should be above flat-out racism.

Try vacationing in Botswana or Mozambique. After you've done posting 20 gazillion photos to Instagram of tropical paradise with friendly, happy locals and cheap beer, then we can talk again about whether or not they're *********.

My mother had a boarder from Cameroon when I was in high school--he was doing his graduate work in immunology. One of the kindest and most intelligent people I've ever met. This was around the same time of the Miracle in Milan, when Cameroon beat Argentina in the World Cup--I remember him coming home with a huge grin on his face every time Cameroon defied expectation and made it to the next round.

He couldn't believe the opportunities my brother and I wasted. Going to school at all was a rare privilege for people in his country.

Anyway, they're all *********. You can have immense wealth, be raised in an exclusive wealthy neighborhood, be given the best private education that money can buy, and still turn out to be Donald Trump.

Yeah, the issue is not really that he called them "********" countries. But the question was, "Why do we want these people?"

For example, consider Nigeria. Is that country one of those he was referring to? Maybe. Why do we want people from Nigera? Maybe because they contribute massively to our country! More Nigerian immigrants, for example, have college degrees than do Americans.

The more important question to ask him, then, is why DON'T we want immigrants from Haiti or Nigeria, as opposed to those from Norway? Aside from the obvious difference between them.

This could all be a huge distraction.
If this were really just an attempt at distraction, you would think Trump could find a better way to do the distraction than doing something that portrays him as a huge racist.

Maybe kick a puppy instead.

I'm reminded that Howard Stern once asked Trump if he's ever been with a black woman. He said, "It depends on what you consider black."

I wonder what Trump considers black. Where does he draw the color line?

Trump's attitude also reminds me of what the disgusted U.N. colonel (Nick Nolte) talking to the Hotel Rwanda manager:

"You're not even *******. You're African."
