Yeah - it takes a huge team of researchers months and months to search through the most arcane listings, bank details etc. to find these conflict of interests....

And this is beyond just undoing a footnote Obama decision - Trump's election platform included criticizing Obama's decision and promising that unlike Obama, he wouldn't let these banks "...get away with murder," like that.

"Oh, wait, these guys can get me a better interest rate? Murder on, then."

How much does Trump owe the 4 banks that aren't Deutsche Bank?

The point is that some people are painting this action as nefarious in and of itself, yet didn't (and aren't) criticise(ing) Obama for doing exactly the same thing.

And who along with the GOP promote the book Clinton Cash as some reason for multiple criminal investigations of Clinton despite the fact the claims in that book have been thoroughly debunked.

I agree with one big fat caveat: the only conflict of interest Obama had was dealing with the potential worldwide depression caused by the financial institutions while Trump's conflicts of interests (plural) are all based in his personal and his family's financial interests.

I think Squeegee Beckenheim was referring to these prosecution waivers. They're an extension of the waivers Obama introduced, which were temporary and would have expired Jan 1st.

I suppose if you wish to take "bank transactions" and segregate them into their own little vacuum, then sure. But they aren't the same bank transactions and the person doing them now has a history of lying, cheating, and stealing his way through life. It's certainly not our fault for being extra cautious when it comes to anything the guy does.

That’s adorable. You’re reminding me of a guy I worked with who tried to argue for a full Linux conversion for our servers with a memo peppered with phrases like “Micro$oft WindBlows.” While he made some good points the memo was largely mocked for the childish choices me made in writing it.

On the flip side I was told about a guy who sabotaged a Microsoft conversion proposal by having it written by a guy who liked using phrases like “Open Sores Software.”

Keep on keeping on. You’re one of the most effective anti-Trump voices in this thread.
