Good ol' Roy has now filed a lawsuit alleging election fraud. I've been wondering what took him so long.

The complaint also irrelevantly claims he took a lie detector test proving he didn't know any of the women who complained about his attentions.

I wouldn't call that irrelevant while he's simultaneously claiming that there’s no rational explanation for why Republican turnout and margins were down for him. Like all his claims surrounding the issue, it's contradictory and self defeating.

Of course, his claim has been denied.

The reaction of the legal commentators of all political stripies is one big horse laugh at it's chances.

The 2018 Governor of Alabama race will be getting underway soon. So do not be too surprised when Moore and his horse throw their hats into that ring before too long.
 
Roy Moore's Defeat By Doug Jones In Senate Race Is Certified By Alabama Board

Republican Roy Moore's upset loss to Democrat Doug Jones is now official, after Alabama's State Canvassing Board certified the results of the special election for a seat in the U.S. Senate early Thursday afternoon.

"I am looking forward to going to work for the people of Alabama in the new year," Sen.-elect Jones said in a statement. "As I said on election night, our victory marks a new chapter for our state and the nation."

The certification came shortly after an Alabama judge rejected Moore's request to delay the move, a bid to block certification of the election he narrowly lost early this month. In his complaint, Moore alleged election fraud was "sufficient to overturn the outcome of the election." He also called for an investigation and possibly a new election.

"Alabama Secretary of State John Merrill says his office has found no evidence of voter fraud," Andrew Yeager of member station WBHM reports, adding that Moore's complaint "also says Moore has taken a polygraph test, which shows allegations of sexual misconduct against him are false."

Yeah, and polygraphs don't prove anything.
 
Many of us were not certain if Moore was genuinely crazy or just cynically exploitive. Now we know.

Well, even if he does not get to be a US Senator there is a career open to him as a poet.
 
And the judge dismissing Moore's lawsuit did so "with prejudice"...which is legalese for "Don't waste our time with this B.S Again".

Moore last minute lawsuit was dimissed by the judge "with prejudice"..which is a legal term for "Don't bother the court with this B.S. lawsuit again".

It's a good thing Roy Moore has a demonstrated history of obeying lawful court orders.

His history in this regard is what really made him ineligible for any government position IMO. His creepy interest in young girls, however disturbing and disgusting, was less directly relevant in terms of his running for office.
