11- Then He turned to the heavens, and it was in a gaseous state.
And said to it, and the earth;
“Come into existence, willingly or unwillingly.”
They said, “We come willingly.”
(41- The Elucidated, 11)

And where was Allah at that moment again? Was he a gaseous too? Why is this important to us? Did an imam win the Nobel Physics award yet because of this vague statement?
Why did you ignore what I said earlier about every religion having it's similar miracles ?
What happens when a Hindu shows you a "5000 year old" recent scientific fact? Are you ready to become a Hindu then?
Google the miracles the followers of other religions claim to be in their holly scripts. Your head is going to spin..

Edip Yuksel (one of whose books I read in 1987) was excommunicated by his own well-respected-islamic-scholar-father. And deserves death penalty under the Sharia law. His ideas had been proven un-islamic in numerous debates. In his view of islam there are many many problems he is not telling you about. Watch his debate with hadith people on you tube. Search it, you'll see it for yourself. His ideology has been defeated by the traditional muslims' ideology (as being un-islamic).

One wonders if Emre_1974tr is citing Edip Yuksel because he popped up in a Google search, or if we're dealing with an adherent of a splinter sect of Islam, comparable to a Branch Davidian cult member quoting David Koresh if you will.

Wow, 0.733 viewers per day!

With that link (did you know a <nofollow> tag is automatically attached here?) it's going to go up to 0.734 .... temporarily.

Wise of you to deactivate the comments. I can imagine what you had gotten there.

I smile at your messianic implication about there are no imams but Emre

I don't believe he just stumbled upon Edip Yuksel in the process of responding to us. It's clear that he's sold on the "Quran's Islam" movement. A few people tried this in the past. They couldn't convince the masses, because they can't extract any practical advise as to the rituals of islam from the Quran alone. And the orthodoxy is very strong.

His cockiness comes from Edip Yuksel. That's his style. He is worse than Emre. A complete waste of intelligence trying to cling to faith. He is almost an atheist (he couldn't raise his own sons as muslims either), people like Emre can't see it.
He is supposed to be a professor at a college in the US, I think he teaches "critical thinking" !
You should hear his English..In one of his you tube videos he is shouting at ground zero in early 2000s supposedly challenging people on the 911 events..waving a $100 bill. That's his style. He has another video. Somehow he convinced the atheist David Silverman to have a talk with him. If Emre listened to him he would be very disappointed with him. He had no argument but saying if he proved that the Quran is based on a number 19 system, would David become a muslim. That's his level..

Atheists in Quran

69:33 For he did not believe in God, the Great.

4:38 And those who spend their money to show off to the people, and they do not believe in God or the Last Day. And whoever has the devil as his associate, then what a miserable associate!

9:45 Those who ask leave are the ones who do not believe in God and the Last Day, and their hearts are in doubt. In their doubts they are wavering.

52:35 Or were they created from nothing? Or was it they who created?

Read my Turkish article about this:

http://emre1974tr.blogspot.com.tr/2011/07/kuranda-bahsedilen-ateistler.html

It doesn't say "God" in those verses.
It says "Allah". Although you may not know the difference.
And also search the subject. I have no time right now to pull it up for you but there are clear messages on this. In one verse where the types of people are counted, atheists don't exists.

Atheists in Quran

69:33 For he did not believe in God, the Great.

"for he did not use to believe in Allah, the Most Great"

Weak arguments of yours. Any human being can imagine the negative of any action ("believing in devilgod", "not believing in devilgod").

Since midnight has passed in Istambul and we hasn't gone back to pumpkins, I'm convinced that is difficult to imagine an Atheist in Muslim countries, with their blasphemy laws and their incarceration and even death penalty.

And, intelligent design verses are for atheists (more than pagans).Because those WHO don't believe in the creator are atheists.

Emre, why don't you stick to your main argument here?
You are posting the miracles of the Quran. And I stated your biggest problem before that you never acknowledged. Don't you think you might learn a thing or two from people here?
The biggest problem with the miracle-looking-statements in religious scriptures is that everybody have those. Since they can't all be the "true" religion how do you distinguish your method of showing miracles from your scripture from other religions' claims?
Also, your biggest miracle -according to the Quran- is supposed to be the inimitability of the literature in the Quran. And I asked you how an arabic-dependent-literary-superiority can be a miracle for the non-arabic-speaking, close to 7 billion, people?
You never address our responses...
I think you already know that those things you post don't have the quality and strenght of a miracle..

Pagans belive to God/Allah

Example; Hindus saying "333 in 1" and Christians saying "3 in 1".

And Quran also specify Pagans.

29:61 If you ask them: "Who created the heavens and the earth, and put the sun and the moon in motion?" They will say, "God/Allah." Why then did they deviate?

Emre, what happened the your miracles?

Are you going to answer my criticism of your method ?

I told you your two main problems with producing miracles from scripture twice already. Either concede to my point or reject it and explain why?
Otherwise I am going to consider that you can't answer and I will move on to other posts.
You don't know much about the Quran and Islam to be taken serious anyway.

Is there any actual fact there?

I think if he only keeps copying stuff here to preach and avoids all the questions and debating, he should be ignored by everyone.
I don't know if the moderators deal with this kind of stuff. Or if I even have the right to call for a boycott. Or if we all start giving him the same standard answer until he gives up..

No rajm in Islam

2 – The adulteress and the adulterer should be flogged a hundred lashes (jalda) each. Do not be swayed by kindness from carrying out God’s law, if you believe in God and the Last Day. And the punishment should be witnessed by a group of believers.
24 The Light, 2

http://quranic.org/rajm-stoning-to-death/

Rajm is Judaism practise.

And, circumcision, the headscarf is Jewish (and Christian) practice. too.

Spirits/ghosts are pagan belivings and from Christianity.

Emre posting nonsense is not against the membership agreement.

You always use the same tactics

Ever seen a mirror? Mirrors don't recognize irony but we do.

to deserve your salary, Christian missionaries.

Anyone here getting paid? Anyone here discussing Emre's perpetual blather from a Strict Constructionist Christian* point of view?

*Hint: no such animal.

Personally, I'm still in favor of the quote-bot hypothesis. And the only remaining humor I can see in this thread is the various tropes posters try to employ to illustrate just how bonkers Emre's posts are; there's the glimmer of creative writing now and then.
