Eh, if it is not the way of actors to slip a tongue into a kiss during a rehearsal then the fact that he did so is not explained away by being a comic. That would be a dick move.

Now, the photo was perhaps slightly creepy, but done for laughs. So long as he didn't literally touch her, I'm less concerned about that.

But the rehearsal kiss does seem to cross a line. It's not groping a fourteen-year-old in her underwear by any stretch, but still a line.

And yet actresses have done that to me. Some people go full out during rehearsals.

Well, as you said, she's not a 14 year old and she should be able to put a stop to it with one simple remark. If she said something and he continued then he's gone way over the line and if she didn't say something, I simply don't care.

The serial groper is not talking to the press, rather just issuing very poorly worded press releases from locations unknown.

Franken’s strategy not to meet the media — he’s also staying in Washington over Thanksgiving — invites the parsing of his statement. If you’ve never grabbed the behind of a woman taking a picture with you, wouldn’t a flat-out denial be more appropriate than “I don’t remember”?

Maybe. Maybe not. The questions could be answered by facing them directly, unless doing so can only make things worse.

I wonder if the people who posted all the pictures of the first victim for the sole purpose of trying to discredit her and defending Senator Handsy McGroper feel regret for attacking her like that.

These situations are confusing, though. I think one of the reasons the veep marched in every morning and wrapped up the QC tech in a bear hug was to bother me, at least in part. He was convinced I was in a clandestine relationship with the QC tech. I knew this because I was also very friendly with the product development vice president's assistant. The assistant confided to me, laughingly, "Dan is convinced you and Natalie are doing the nasty," and he was very jealous. That Dan had said he if he found out it was true, "If that nasty old guy [I was in my early 40s at the time] is boinking her," he was going to wipe up the floor with me. (Did I mention, even at age 70, Dan was a body builder?) It was true, I had become very good friends with Natalie, the QC tech. Dan might have seen us leaving work together a couple of times, we had coffee together after work a few times. She also gave me a few rides home when I didn't have my car. What Dan didn't know was, Natalie was actually gay. She didn't date men.

But Dan had a good side as well. He once got two tickets to a New York Giants football game from a colleague at a previous job he'd had. They were company season tickets and were in an excellent location, field level at the forty-five yard line. I think it was a weekend where his old company had an event planned so no one was going to be using the seats. Dan couldn't go either but he knew I was a Giants fan so he thought of me.

I went with my wife, the weather cooperated -- it was sunny and mild -- and we had a great time. The Giants trailed early but then Eli brought them roaring back.

Democrat or liberal pretends to grope = felony, attempted rape.

Don't you have that backwards? People voted for Trump knowing what he said he did. So, how can these same people pretend to be morally outraged about Franken? It doesn't make any sense.

No. We already know they are hypocrites.
But the standard we have set for these people is "multiple accusers" which, Franken now meets. So, to not be hypocrites ourselves, we have to hold liberal gropers to that standard.

When you take a photo like Franken did, you open yourself up to this. The burden of proof is going to be on Franken now.

Three reasons plus a bonus.

1. She is basically a stranger.
2. Her husband was taking the picture and Franken is a total creep. He probably gets off by power trips like this, knowing there was no was no way that the husband would attack a sitting Senator.
3. Franken didn't deny it.
4. He is a serial groper and major creeper.
