I don't think I'll ever be able to understand that point of view.

Besides the uncertainty and instability he engenders on the world stage... there are numerous areas of domestic policy where I'd prefer her (almost anyone TBH) over him.

You can laugh and point fingers from there.. we have to live here. He's not "the lesser evil".

You haven't the faintest clue how the Trump Presidency will work out, let alone how an H Clinton Presidency would work out differently. "Killary" signs you off as too silly for words.

Under H Clinton there would at least be an attempt to manage US decline, but under Trump there'll be nothing but denial of decline until everything comes on top. As the sages put it, a piss-poor plan is better than no plan at all, and Trump is the epitomy of no plan at all.

Given that they heard it in their own language I doubt any North Koreans got as far as that comma.

Kim is short, fat, been in the job for five minutes and is going against a cultural grain which venerates age, and has done for a very long time. Too stupid to live, frankly.

But as the only remaining superpower, our words matter. It's no big deal if Manboobs makes some dumb ass claim about Easter Ukraine, but we still matter. The world still cares what we say.

I think this was posted few days ago. IMO what's frightening isn't her lack of basic knowledge nor the fact that the Trump Administration has nominated her, their candidates have been mixed to say the least, but that she's almost certain to be appointed because all GOP will appoint whoever the White House proposes, no matter how unsuitable.

There was the recent judicial appointment where the candidate had never tried a case, hadn't really done much work as a lawyer after law school (he was mostly a political hack) and he was deemed unsuitable by 14 of 15 (the 15th abstained) ABA members. Sailed through along partisan lines.
