Cont: The Trump Presidency Part III

What value can a denial from this group have? It's not as if the president and those he associates himself with are honorable people.

And what value has the accusation? This is almost three weeks old:

Targeting Michael Flynn & Shielding the Radical Cleric Gulen: Special Counsel Robert Mueller MUST Step Down

Sibel Edmonds said:
General Michael Flynn, Former National Security Advisor to President Trump, is being investigated by Special Counsel for accepting legitimate payments from Turkish companies for researching and exposing Wanted Terrorist and Radical Islamist Fethullah Gulen and his $25+ Billion criminal network in the United States.

Former FBI Director Robert Mueller is Special Counsel in charge of the case. He is the same Robert Mueller who used his position as Director of the FBI to shield and cover up Gulen’s criminal-terrorist network and operations, and take drastic measures to quash a whistleblower’s Gulen-related reports. These previous connections and actions by Mr. Mueller create a direct conflict of interest with his current position as Special Counsel in Flynn’s case, and require that he must immediately step down from the case. Trump Says Putin ‘Means It’ About Not Meddling

“He said he didn’t meddle — I asked him again,” Mr. Trump told reporters traveling with him aboard Air Force One as he flew to Hanoi for more meetings. “You can only ask so many times. I just asked him again. He said he absolutely did not meddle in our election. He did not do what they are saying he did.”

When asked, it wasn't anyone else in Trump's first grade class, either.

Trump Says Putin ‘Means It’ About Not Meddling

That pretty much settles it doesn't it? We can put all this nonsense aside, glad that Putin respects Trump so much that there is no way at all he would seek to lie to Trump.

I wouldn't be so sure about the denials - from the Trump and Russia thread:

So Trump says he asked about election meddling and Putin said he didn't do it...and Trump believes him. Okay the best case scenario here is that Trump is just that stupid. The worst case scenario is that Trump knows Putin is lying and just doesn't care and is stupid enough to think this puts the matter to rest.
Putin's press secretary says Donnie didn't ask about meddling:

The Hill said:
President Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin did not discuss alleged election meddling on Saturday, despite Trump saying they did, according to Putin’s office.

“No,” Putin's press secretary Dmitri Peskov told CNN when asked, “as far as you know, did the two leaders discuss meddling?"

So now, I guess Trump wants us to believe Putin except for when he's lying?

It's almost as though Putin is enjoying letting Trump look stupid an untrustworthy, but I can't see why he'd want that... (Apart from geopolitical reasons, and quite possibly the personal reason that Trump is so unlikable that I imagine most of his acquaintances and even political allies would enjoy seeing him humiliated if it didn't harm them).

Peskov told Russian state media they did discuss it. Seems like they're trying to spread FUD.

No doubt run by the dog from the Air Bud movie franchise.

Didn't Trump try this once before? "I asked him. He said, 'No.' I asked him again. He said, 'No.' Therefore, he's telling the truth."

Imagine if it really were that simple. Court cases could be decided in seconds.

It's just like that rule where, if you ask an undercover police officer if he's a cop, he has to tell the truth. If you ask a certain number of times, the person you're asking can't lie.

The Hair's already been caught in lies about Russia. Why should we believe it now?

Because a different liar says so.

I can tell that you aren't convinced by this reasoning.

Damn it Trump!

The rule is that you have to ask 3 times. On the 3rd time, they can't lie.

This proves Trump knows the Russians meddled, or he would have asked 3 times.

I have said it thrice: What I tell you three times is true.

Yeah. It's common knowledge that cop shops get their rules from Lewis Carroll poetry.
