Replacing Janet Yellen despite the fact everyone agrees she's doing a great job and Fed Res Chairpersons normally stay at least 8 years.

Yellen Will Leave Top Fed Post With Solid Record
Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen, the first woman to hold that position, won't have the opportunity to serve four more years as leader of the nation's central bank. But she leaves the Fed's top post having largely achieved its mandate to engineer full employment while keeping inflation at a level that fosters growth.
Racist (eliminate all things Obama), sexist (Trump has no respect for the fact Yellen in the first woman to hold that position), crony rewarding (he's installing yet another multi-millionaire friend of a friend) pig.

Aaaand of course a friend one can influence is a friend indeed.
Mnuchin pushing Trump to pick Jerome Powell for Fed
The people familiar with the process indicated that Mnuchin, who knows Powell well, feels comfortable with him and feels that he is a safe pick over whom Mnuchin can exert some measure of influence.

What's the window for posting and reading (and copying) a tweet?

I was just wondering if The PDJT posted something so outrageous that someone grabbed his phone and immediately deleted his account, for National Security purposes, mind you.

President Trump pushed back Thursday on concerns about a lack of nominees for key positions at the State Department, arguing it wouldn't affect his agenda.

"Let me tell you, the one that matters is me, I'm the only one that matters because when it comes to it that's what the policy is going to be," Trump said on Fox News when pressed about vacancies by Laura Ingraham.

"We don't need all the people that they want," Trump continued. "Don't forget, I'm a business person and I tell my people, well you don't need to fill slots, don't fill them."

A number of top positions remain unfilled at the State Department, among other agencies, including officials overseeing Southeast Asia and arms control.

Trump has fallen behind his four predecessors in the number of appointments confirmed by the Senate by this time, while he also has fewer nominations sent compared to the four previous administrations, according to an appointee tracker from The Washington Post and Partnership for Public Service.

Haha!

I think it is clear that the Clinton campaign did pay for some negative research about Trump...but then paying for negative research has become SOP for every campaign nowdays.
They saw that the research was crap, and decided it would be self defeating to use it.
BTW what happened tonight indicates why this cropped up just now.

Important to note: other GOP primary candidates paid for negative research on Trump which was later shopped to the Clinton campaign.

This is where the tapatalk signature that annoys people used to be

....and yet it seems like they will press ahead with the nomination of someone who appears to be both personally flawed and who puts their personal beliefs above the law. If they are not approved then President Trump will claim Democratic Party intransigence.

I'm not sure whether the US is on the way to being a theocracy, kleptocracy, oligarchy or a combination of all three. :(

Hell, listening to him complaining that he can't force the Justice department to target Hillary, as well as him tweeting about how the New York attacker should either recieve the death penalty or be sent to Guantanamo, I'm surprised he's bothered with any judicial nominations at all.

It is funny because he is completely allowed to order them to investigate. And he can fire people who refuse.

Secret Service agent on final day deletes Trump.

Well, we can hope....

HELL NO!!!

I don't want him turned into some tin martyr.

I want him to crash and burn. Spend lots of hard time behind bars in disgrace. Paupered and begging on the street if he ever gets out. (Which he shouldn't, at least not until he is helpless and bed-ridden.)

I want him to crash so hard that he takes everyone who has been aiding and abetting him down with him. Unemployable. Let them spend some time finding out how easy a ride it is to be on welfare and Medicaid.

I want to see anyone who ever championed Trump as fit for public office as part of their own political aspirations to be so thoroughly discredited and stigmatized that they couldn't get elected to scrub sewers on a ballot of one.
