Split Thread Scorpion's Spiritualism

I sat in a developing circle and a medium went into trance, and the spirit of his Chinese guide said "sex is neutral in the spirit world"
Oh. Some jumped up "guru" told you and you simply swallowed it hook, line and sinker. And this is different from Imre accepting what his imam tells him in what way?

I think I have also heard this from other sources.
What sources? Or do you just vaguely remember that?

How, exactly, is your superstitious nonsense that you truly believe any different from Imre's superstitious nonsense which Imre truly believes?

Can you explain that?

I know a spirit guide said sex is neutral in the spirit world, so everyone will be asexual.

This just raises more questions for me.

What does "sex is neutral" mean. That no one desires sex? That no one is capable of sex? That afterlife bodies lack sexual organs? What about breasts? Nipples? Facial hair?

Do people in the afterlife wear clothing? It would seem unnecessary since there wouldn't be anything to cover up for modesty sake and I doubt the they would be needed to keep warm.

I was remote agenting the Chinese guide. I play a long game. What does it mean?

The medium was taken in trance by the spirit of a china man who spoke through his mouth, he said several things to me. He said "you were not meant to have an easy life, for reasons you have enough knowledge to understand"
I took him to mean that I was paying karma from past lives.

He said the spirits could go into water, and when they came out they were dry.

He said "sex is neutral"

How did you know he was Chinese? What was the nationality of the medium? Did he speak a chinese language? Did he speak in a Micky Roony chinese accent? Did he refer to himself as a "china man?"Why would a spirit still have a nationality?
That was a fairly generic and useless statement the spirit gave you. What makes you sure the medium was not just making it up?

The spirit guide did not elaborate, all I know for certain is what he said.
"sex is neutral"

Do people in the afterlife wear clothing? .

I have read the spirits wear robes of different colours that indicate their status.

The spirit was a china man in his last life, he spoke English.

I tend to think it was genuine because the medium was my friend, and I watched him develop into a medium before my eyes over a number of months.
He was not trying to fool me, and he is still a practicing medium today.
His name is Trevor Williams.

My superstitious nonsense does not come from an old book it comes from the horses mouth of living spirits.

What reason do you have that doesn't equally apply to some things somebody told you they heard a ghost say at a seance?

I could feel psychic energy, and even though I never developed psychic powers. I have sometimes had reason to believe a spirit spoke to me.
I sat in two separate developing circles, and had a lot of contact with psychic people. I did not come lightly to a belief in the spirit world.

What would it take to convince you that the spirits don't exist? Is there any type of authority that could convince you? For instance, if God came down from on high and told you "This is rubbish," would you then abandon your belief? If one of the mediums told you it was all a put-on and the result of lucky guesses and research, would that do it?

Seems legit. *cough*

I bet if you concentrate hard enough, you can feel the energy emanating from my invisible dragon, too.

As I have pointed out to you before, your friend could be fooling himself just as easily as you are fooling yourself. No deliberate deception is required.

Taking everything mediums say as true and ignoring or trying to rationalize away all the consequent inconsistences and unanswered questions is exactly what Emre does, except it's the Quran he takes as true. I'm sure he has "evidence" which justifies it which is just as convincing to him as your anecdotes are to you. But the fact of the matter is that neither of you have real, objective evidence for your beliefs. Remonstrating with Emre whilst doing exactly the same thing yourself is the height of hypocrisy.
