Obviously Pruett's quote was written AFTER vdL removed the relevant parts and is conciliatory. Why on earth would she need to bring up the word "plagiarism" again? Quit looking for excuses. There aren't any.

Thanks for this. I was wondering what had happened to this case. Is this the last of the outstanding legal issues (apart from any compensation appeal and any ECHR rulings)? A good piece of justice and PR for RS after his disappointing compensation case.

IIRC the defamation charge against Knox's parents is still active, despite Knox being herself acquitted on essentially the same charge.

They might want to just let that one expire without any further embarrassment, although I hope it is heard and thrown out. It's good to continually remind the public of the type of arrogant jerk Mignini truly is.

Congrats to Raffaele and Andrew... fantastic news. I guess the few remaining PGP will be sulking for a few days. Love it!

In the last while he's been compiling a list of people who will be "forced to tell the truth one day." The prosecution of Raffaele Sollecito and Andrew Gumbel for defamation was going to be the crack which broke the dam, and unsuspecting foreigners would have bags put over their heads while being hustled into tinted-window vans, and renditioned to dark-sites in Italy.

Guiliano Mignini's defamation claims against RS and AG was simply the starting gun. What proof does anyone need that the whole pro-guilt PR campaign is by Mignini-surrogates who simply will not bow to the obvious?

There must be some explanation for why Peter Quennell has wasted hundreds of column inches on his website predicting doom and gloom? Could it be that the kids were innocent?

At least this takes the heat off of Nick van der Leek, on allegations of plagiarism. Not all guilters were sad by yesterday's ruling in the RS and AG defamation case!

The journalist who flipped on that campaign in March 2015, who declared the case definitively over with acquittals - and who started outing the more notorious guilters!

A new phase of the Florence trial of Raffaele Sollecito and Andrew Gumbel is scheduled to start on Thursday of next week.

Why is this the iceberg in the Titanic’s path? Because Sollecito and later Knox made numerous demonstrably false and damaging claims that so many others then made, most usually worse.

See Sollecito go down here, or withdraw his claims, for lack of any proof, and the legal liabilities of all those others stretch to the horizon and beyond.
