Gratitude, Compulsion, Idiocy or Nobility?

No, because we don't know with absolute certainty what those "rules" are. We just have descriptions (many of them extremely accurate) of those "rules". And those descriptions cannot be "A&F"; they are subject to revision and correction.

Show me a description of the universe that is "A&F", and I will show you a description that is not only wrong, but that is incapable of being corrected.

A&F is a big M&W. ;)

It is surprising, how we claim permanency of nature's rules when we even do not understand them.

No, they are human inventions.

No. If you want "A&F", you need to look at religions. And remember that they not only disagree about what is "A&F", but also keep changing it.

Human inventions. Ok then, can it be so: human inventions based on nature's rules?

What i posted in one of his other random threads.

I think Kumar is confusing what most people understand as 'natural laws' (physical or scientific laws) with philosophy. The twain never shall meet.

Adding in a little bit of law of the jungle.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Law_of_the_jungle

Yes true. I read these today only. To get nature's rules, we need to check it by better understanding of "as if we are living in nature or natural environment to us since long back.

But we are discussing something else in this topic not Laws of Science or Physical Laws. Better, you could have given links on Nature's law or Law of Jungle.
What you are discussing and what the rest of us are discussing is very often two different things.

ETA: But OK, let's discuss the Law of the Jungle. Can you give an example of a religion which is based on it?

We have to combine nature's law and law of jungle for it.

"true or instinct nature of all substances is its true religion"

Also few other quotes. Can also be much more. But it can be discussed in another topic.

Indicated earlier also.

So you're not answering Pixel's question?

If you are not convinced, you can give your views to counter that. Simply saying no, is not a&f.
I cannot give my views to counter an argument that has not been made.

I asked:

Nothing in that response answers my question, or even begins to hint at an answer to my question. Unless the answer you intended to give was "No, I can't give an example of a religion which is based on it", in which case you should have just said that.

A real answer would have given the name of a religion, and then explained in exactly what way it is based on (or even slightly influenced by) the Law of the Jungle.

Kumar,

Yet again - still - over and over - you are slipping and slopping all over the place. No data, "feelings," solipsistic generalities, special pleading, outright misstatements and an apparently immovable fixation on hypothetically lovely but nonexistent A&F.*

*Not to mention a broad smorgasbord of other logical fallacies.

I cannot give my views to counter an argument that has not been made.

I asked:
Why just on law of jungle? Why not law of nature which may or may not be law of Jungle. I quoted on link today which suggest true nature of human beings is self realization and spiritual elevation. This can also be taken as law of nature for human beings. Many religions, may be most, should have been based on it. Hiwever, few can also be other way, you can find yourself

So the answer is indeed no, you can't give an example of a religion that is based on the law of the jungle.

Glad we sorted that out.

As for the suggestion that the "true nature of human beings is self realization and spiritual elevation": you must be living on a different planet to the one I see when I look out the window.

Have you seen Jurrasic Park movie? There were two types of dinosaurs but both were shown living naturally. So I mentioned two type of laws. Good and bad part, veg or non veg, voilent or peaceful, live & let live, survival, might is right, survival of fittest etc.are basic nature to maintain balance of nature. Nature and its rules are not one sided.
