Merged A God of Love / The Living God

I'm pretty sure it's not against the MA. I think you're just being dishonest.

Well there is a witness. Ask Abaddon.

Whether it's a book on morality or not doesn't answer whether you think it's morally right or wrong. It's supposed to be the word of god. It contains instructions. Are those instructions morally acceptable or not?

The instructions are removed.

Rom 7:4* Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.*
Rom 7:5* For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death.*
Rom 7:6* But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.*

Sure.

Gal 3:10* For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.*

Time to come out from under the "curse"

Was Jesus lying?

Mat 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

Yep. You sure have to notice it. It has its effect. A whole town living in fear.

Ah, yes... good old pantscrappingly terrifying concept of 'forgiveness'.

For someone who claims to be so forgiving, you sure like to remind people of everything you've 'forgiven' them for.

I'd call that approach petty passive-aggressive nastiness rather than magnanimous forgiveness.

That would be because this is not about forgiveness at all. It is about vengeance.

To be fair, that's exactly what the god of the Bible would do... Threaten people, take brutal vengeance, and later claim to be perfect and forgiving (as long as you obey his every command).

Of course, that's also the MO of stalkers and abusive spouses, so it's hardly a compliment.

This is just meaningless drivel unless you add an explanation.

You already agreed that the bible doesn't matter. Quoting Romans is thus irrelevant.

Yeah, living in fear, running to get a Zulu war club, all signs that you've forgiven them. No chance whatsoever that you've got the wrong end of this. An entire town angry and afraid of you is certainly not an indicator that it's you who should be seeking their forgiveness. Reaching for war clubs and cowering in fear, seething in rage are a sure bet that they're ready to bury the hatchet.

ETA: "Bury the hatchet" is an American expression based on the Native American custom of burying the blade of a tomahawk in a stump or piece of wood symbolizing a peace agreement at the end of a war. Please no one in Robertson go get a hatchet.

:D I chuckled, and appreciated the history lesson.

Nope. You are still under it. You are a human being remember. The law is for them. They are not good and need it to know how to life the "good" life. They try but never to fully succeed. Gods are good from within. They have the Life of Jesus and are living that Life. This obviously only became a possibility with the arrival of Jesus.

I did it and they deleted it and gave me a warning.

So:

They already acted against it.

The reason is the nature of revealing that is going on there.

I am sure somebody would help you out. . . underground.

Yeah, living in fear, running to get a Zulu war club, all signs that you've forgiven them.

The lack of forgiveness is not from my side.

No chance whatsoever that you've got the wrong end of this.

I am on the forgiving end. They are on the unforgiving end. That is on God's wrong side.

They are the fighting ones. I am the forgiving one. God is with me.

They already fighting that way for 17 years now. The first year I was assaulted 38 times. Then it was not strange to me anymore and I stopped counting.

But seems they admit defeat now. I gave them the opportunity to continue here. They decided to hide away.

Isa 2:19* And they shall go into the holes of the rocks, and into the caves of the earth, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth.*
