Depends. It is one of NK short range missiles,which we know they have had for years. It is more of a middle finger to Trump then anything else.
With a normal President, the reaction would be a warning since this test does no upset the status quo,but with somebody as thin skinned as Donnie...

Seriously though, we know NK has various missiles and the KIC (Kid in charge) likes fireworks. For all we know, he may be telling his subjects that every time they fire one off it's a nuke hitting one of his enemies.
 
And would bet that this happened just when Hurrican Harvey is coming down on Texas is NOT a coincidence.
 
I think NK should name their missiles in order like we do our hurricanes. At least then we could tell where the hell we are.
 
The only thing the scares me more than the fact that Sarah Palin might have got her hands on The Football is the fact that Trump actually does (metaphorically speaking) have his hands on it.

IIRC, all of them are variations on the original combloc SCUD, which wasn't a precision weapon even when manufactured by he Soviets - it's no tack driver.

Well, when Kim Jong un states - in advance - where his missiles will land when he tests them, then - and only then - will I consider his missile tests as anything serous.
 
They actually launched three missiles. This was the only one to go anywhere. The last one apparently blew up shortly after launch, I.e. Over NK.

It's a bit like watching your dumb neighbourhood kid playing with firecrackers. Mostly he will manage to throw them a few feet away before they go off. But sometimes he manages to throw them near someone's house, or drop them in his own pocket. Mostly harmless but you gotta keep an eye on him just in case.
 
He's doing this so much it's losing impact (no pun intended). He needs to update his shtick. He sort of blew it when he threatened Guam and backed down.
