Donald Trump Jr has been forced to release damning emails that show he welcomed what he was told was a Russian government attempt to harm Hillary Clinton’s election campaign.

The formatting of the emails suggests that Trump Jr forwarded the whole chain to Paul Manafort, then Trump’s campaign chairman, and Jared Kushner, Trump Jr’s brother-in-law, before the meeting the three attended with Veselnitskaya.

I'll leave it to Segnosaur to squelch that suggestion. If Donald Jr was that stupid he'd never have got so rich, would he?

I really have no idea what he was thinking other than "Well, I colluded to work with an foreign adversary, but I didn't get anything (that time), so no harm no foul." Which is a monumentally stupid at the very least.

It's obvious now that none of the people in the email chain should have a clearance anymore...is what I would say if that hadn't been obvious for months.

Did he get rich? Or like his father before him is it more a case of daddy gave him millions and he's been conning, bluffing, and borrowing his way to richness? I actually don't know much about Jr or his business acumen.

I did hear today that during the campaign Jr had millions in debt from a failed business venture and daddy took over the debt and some big related lawsuit.
