Merged All things Trump + Russia

This entire FUBAR SNAFU that the US finds itself in these days makes so much more sense if you contemplate the idea that Russia hopes to discredit our entire democratic system.
Ah, you speak of Russia and what it wants. Soon you speak of what it needs, and then you speak of how you'll make sure it gets it.

The average Russian is probably savouring the US's own Yeltsin experience. Putin (another definition of Russia) hopes to justify a managed democracy, strong and stable, by the counter-example of Trump.

Go tell this to the 17 Reps (Rubio, Bush, Cruz, Gaham, ..) who got sweeped off
:)
Trump walked away from a circular firing-squad.

Think about that for a moment : the Republican Party went to After Obama with 17 candidates plus Trump. 17 individual plans for After Obama, plus Trump because what passed for party management was terrified he might run as a third party candidate. No visions of what Republicanism means in the modern age, let alone what policies are good for the US, but all about characters and their assassination. The 17 shamed each other out of the race, without appreciating before the event that Trump is shameless beyond normal perception. Not even normal politicians' perception.

I am not sure Trump is a dummy since he got elected as President :D

Here is one very good example that Trump is a dummy.

Trump intervenes in Gulf rift, pointing at Qatar over militant funding

Doha/Dubai (Reuters) U.S. President Donald Trump, wading into the worst split between powerful Arab states in decades, said on Tuesday his trip to the Middle East was “already paying off” with leaders there taking a hard new line in accusing Qatar of funding of militant groups.

His blunt remarks cast the anti-Islamist speech he gave at a Riyadh summit in May as the inspiration for a decision by leading Arab powers to sever ties and transport links to Qatar in protest at what they say is its support for terrorism.
In fact, U.S. officials were blindsided by Saudi Arabia’s decision to sever diplomatic ties with Qatar in a coordinated move with Egypt, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates, current and former officials in Washington told Reuters.

It was very embarrassing to the United States because Qatar is home to one of the largest US military bases in the Middle East. Now, for the rest of the story.

Russian hackers planted fake Qatar news story to spark Gulf diplomatic row, US officials believe
FBI investigators helping Qatari government probe the alleged intrusion

Russian hackers were behind a fake news report in Qatar's state media that helped stir the Gulf nation's current diplomatic crisis, US investigators reportedly believe.

Qatar's foreign minister, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Abdulrahman al-Thani, told CNN: “Whatever has been thrown as an accusation is all based on misinformation.

“It was started based on fabricated news, being wedged and being inserted in our national news agency which was hacked and proved by the FBI.”

So once again, Trump is a dummy, among other things.

What's so interesting about this is the left has pinned their hopes on something so ridiculous as Russia changing the outcome of our election along with Trump coordinating it with them. When this is all done and nothing comes of it, the only thing left is how terrible a candidate Clinton truly was. Damn it will be an absolute kick in the groin for the left!

Well Trump is an exceptionally unpopular new president and he is way too incompetent to significantly improve that.

:D

Don't forget the part about how gullible most of the people who voted for him are! Those coal jobs are totally coming back!

Really, he's done the single most important thing I voted for!

Making librul heads asplode? Locking up Hillary? Or, more specific to you, picking a fight with Canada over timber and putting a tariff on it?

Some of those are very exciting but the one I voted for was the SCOTUS nominee, good stuff!

So yeah, your gullible comment just got run over!

Trump is so smart he may be the only president to never have a majority approval rating (which is the thing he really cares about). Even Dubya wasn't widely hated until his second term.

Your logic is as amazing bad as ever. Nothing you said actually refuted the gullible point. Don't worry, those who voted for him aren't all being lumped together, even if "half" of them can supposedly be described as deplorable and the other "half" as gullible.
