Destroyed Atlantis = Menorah

Wow, it all makes sense now!

Cameron's movie, "Titanic" was just a promo for his barf-bag documentary, "Atlantis & Menorah".

It's all connected.

Are we even certain that the Titanic was an actual ship that sank, and not a symbol of the sinking of Atlantis that's been forgotten, recovered, and misinterpreted during the over 920,000 hours that have passed since it supposedly happened? Consider the similarities with Plato's account: it was highly advanced, had wealthy powerful people dwelling on it, and it sank in the Atlantic Ocean. Also, numerous writers over the years have described Titanic as a floating city, and James Cameron has made documentaries about it. With all those similarities, it's a certainty that the Titanic is actually a distorted memory of Atlantis.

Excellent work.

Your theory is airtight, with evidence that cannot possibly be ignored.

Even the similarities of the names, "Titanic" and "Atlantis" are remarkable. 1) Both are Greek, 2) both have three syllables and two "t"s. This is certainly not a mere coincidence.

The menorah symbol is also obvious. Drawings of Titanic show two masts and four funnels. That is six "branches" extending from the hull (the hull is obviously the "stem") which gives a total of seven. It was said that smoke came from the funnels, which is an undeniable reference to the menorah being lit by fire. Finally, the word "menorah" is an easily noted distortion of the original word, "marconi".

Now I wonder about the White Star Line and how many points its star had when they decided to adopt the symbol. :D

Normally, I'd say y'all are getting silly now, but with where this thread started and how it's progressed, I'd say y'all are getting more rational now.

Should we discuss the obvious significance of how, some years after the Titanic sinking, the merged Cunard/White Star line adopted a logo based on three concentric rings (two black, one white) around a central white circle, with a vertical flag staff near the center?

OMG, the Sun wheel mosaic is obviously another map of Atlantis, from after the redevelopment into a hip urban center. Let's go get an artisanal orichalcum frappé.
You're absolutely right. It now all fits together. The swastika is merely a simplification of the Sun wheel, and the Atlanteans were nothing else than paleo-Nazis. Just look at their attitude of "let's conquer the whole world" and their perceived superiority.

So... The Titanic was sent on a spy mission by Jews descended from Atlantis, and it was taken down by another group of Atlantean descendants who founded the northern colony of Ultima Thule, because they were afraid the spies would discover the Nazi breeding facility where they grew the semi Aryan infiltrators who were planted to start a war to retake their ancestral lands and cleanse them of the presence of the other Atlantean faction?

Sounds plausible.

Now, we're getting somewhere. How about a Semitic diaspora? We could get Gavin Menzies on it and double our book sales in Israel.

See? Atlantis was actually settled by the legendary missing seventh tribe of Israel. The menorah wasn't created around the model of Atlantis, but Atlantis was to represent a menorah. Seven tribes. Seven lights.

And we need some runes. Any runes will do if you know your faux archaeology. Find some anywhere on the earth and we can show that everything from the Sumerians to the Egyptians to Stonehenge to the Aztecs to the Mormons is all tied to seven. We all know how to do that from the Crazy Math Conspiracy theories. Seven is the number. And every 823,543 days ( 77 ) Atlantis will rise according to the prophecies. That's 2254 years, the last occurrence of which was April 15, 1914!!! See it! See it! Iceberg? Goldberg? No difference. It was Atlantis Rising that took out the Titanic.

Cue Donovan's "Atlantis"........

Stonehenge? You mean that ancient monument in the shape of some arbitrary number of concentric circles bisected by a central path, which we know can only represent a map of the Atlantis transit system?

There is no evidence to address directly or indirectly. We're waiting for you to provide some. I realize this is difficult when you haven't even read the source material, but do give it a try.

> First, you implied that Atlantis was a pacifist land that didn't militarize the oceans.

> Next, you run away when numerous of us point out that Plato's dialogue actual mentions that they conquered all of the Mediterranean including Egypt and Libya.
>>>>>> You won't even address your own unfamiliarity with the work you're claiming offers us proof.

> Now, we've accepted for you that Plato mentions their conquest of the Mediterranean nations and all you need do is show us something in the vast historical records of Egypt, just to choose one, that refers to having lived under Atlantean domination.
>>>>>> That should be pretty easy for a scientist of your vast knowledge.

I've said, my case has been presented. I have nothing further on this topic. I do however look forward to an alternate theory to explain the origin of the menorah, if one should arise.

1. That was a joke.

2. Okay but that has nothing to do with an alternate theory.

3. I am not an archaeologist, nor do I do field research. The theory I support is that of a connection between a sunken Atlantis and the menorah. I see no need to prove every element of Plato's tale to make this connection.

I am studying law, not science.

Why is it you do not accept the only info we have for the origin of the design? The earliest written record is in tanakh.

The design is based on BOTANY. The hebrew clearly uses words like, "stem/stalk", "flowers", "almond" and "branches".

There is NO mention of "circles" or "semi-circles" or anything similar.

Absolutely nothing to tie the design in with some half circles etched into some cave wall in Spain.

Nothing.

One, this is not an alternate theory explaining where the menorah came from

Two, GOD SAID, build it like this, after a "pattern" on some mount.

Three, the oldest menorah found, and presented here, was circular, not branches, flowers, or stalks.

But...by all means, present some evidence. I'd love to see your fully thought out position...

Why do you need an alternate theory in the first place?

Two, GOD SAID, build it like this, after a "pattern" on some mount.

There is your problem.

Do you really believe a "god" "said" anything? The tanakh was written by men, not "god(s)".

Three, the oldest menorah found, and presented here, was circular, not branches, flowers, or stalks.

So? That does not mean that it was the oldest, or one of the first ones.

But...by all means, present some evidence. I'd love to see your fully thought out position...

I gave the logical, and accepted evidence.

You are the one who does not want to accept it and demand an "alternate theory".

You made the claim for some "alternate theory" .

It is your responsibility to prove it.

Not mine.

Yet you spent several pages selling us on the accuracy, historically, of Plato (which you hadn't even read). Now that that cover is blown and it's been shown that he was neither a historian nor writing non-fiction of any sort, you want to fall back on "Hey, Free Speech, Man! My opinion's as good as anyone's!"

I am studying law, not science.

No, you're not. Do you forget what you post from day to day? You've audited (not enrolled in) three law classes/lectures. I was a paralegal and had to have full credits (6 separate courses of a semester each - 60 class hours per). 360 hours - just to be able to handle one facet of the law (cargo claims and liability).

Not that it means anything... other than as an attempt to lend some nonsensical credence to your attempts to pretend this is an evidentiary hearing so you can say "I object!" while snapping your imaginary suspenders and fanning yourself with your skimmer in the best William Jennings Bryant tradition.

Why do you need an alternate theory in the first place?

Because the evidence presented here 'proves' the menorah was adopted. I'd like to know from where. I hold that the explanation Cameron and National geographic presented is 'the best current explanation'...until another arises.

There is your problem.

Do you really believe a "god" "said" anything? The tanakh was written by men, not "god(s)".

Authority figure? Potato or french fires...it's still carbs.

The oldest mention of the menorah is a biblical reference that provides no provenance.

So? That does not mean that it was the oldest, or one of the first ones.

It is the best evidence we have, currently.

But by all means, please feel free to present another piece that supports your claim.

My case and evidence has been presented for the origin of the menorah.

I made no claim of an alternative theory.

BWAAAAHAAAAHAAAAA

No, sir. You are mistaken.

No, you're not. Do you forget what you post from day to day? You've audited (not enrolled in) three law classes/lectures. I have a B.S. in Criminal Justice and Legal Studies. I work as a paralegal for TWU.

Law has been a subject of my study for the last several years...

Not that it means anything... other than as an attempt to lend some nonsensical credence to your attempts to pretend this is an evidentiary hearing so you can say "I object!" while snapping your imaginary suspenders and fanning yourself with your skimmer in the best William Jennings Bryant tradition.

My objections have all been well founded and accurate, as my attempt to apply rules of evidence to help create a valid debate.

Speculation, offering evidence beyond your scope, and asking others to provide hearsay as evidence will get this discussion no where

If you are what you say, then I encourage you to apply your abilities to bring order where it is needed most.

You have proved nothing. Your "theory" amounts to "well, it could've happened that way".

Good luck to you. There's nothing to debate as you have no evidence now that your silly and ignorant notions about Plato have been shredded.

We know the game. You'll go on until you get bored, just repeating your baseless assertions. When asked for evidence, you'll repeat that you've already shown copious evidence and 'round and 'round we'll go.

Hitchens' Razor applies. Case dismissed because.... reasons.
